  • I also like the Hostel timings of this college, I mean, many medical colleges are very strict about the timing.
  • I don’t like the food at all I mean, you can eat it like a straight 3-D, and then you get bored of it
  • Also, people from Northwood found north Indian food. A little of the food is okay at some places, but not that too good that we expect in north

You can take admission Via your Neet UG marks, your rank should be Under the cut-off rank, the rank is usually not too high. It's me Mediocre For a private college, not too difficult to take admission here. Only the fees is a bit high.

Abhishek Kumar Shashi

The best review ever

  • The best thing about this college is the teachers they interact with the students
  • The best thing is the library which is fully air conditioned
  • The thing which is disliked is the campus area which is very small
  • The placement scenario of 2024 was also not good only 60 % student were placed due to recession

So basically there is an exam called SAAT you can fill the form of saat which is free of cost and you can enroll it .and there are certain reservations in marks for obc ,sc,st candidates in it.I would suggest that college should do most of the process online for good service

Siksha 'O' Anusandhan

  • The co-curricular activities are well organized and managed
  • Giving an honest review, the mess food quality is very unhygienic and disgusting

SOA conducts an exam SAAT which enables the students to have an impact and basic learning of their 12th. This exam includes the various topics of 12th which is not that much difficult as compared to competitive exams.

SOA Siksha O Anusandhan

  • Faculty Expertise and teaching methods are very good in this institution.
  • Specially i don't like the mess food quality, really disgusting.

SOA offers a SAAT Exam which enables students for better admission. This exam most likely to be conducted in the month of May or June and not that much difficult as competitive exams. SAAT Exam basically tests your 12th basics and fundamentals.

University of Maryland President's Postdoctoral Fellowship Program

Doctoral Students

The University of Maryland President’s Postdoctoral Fellowship Program was established in 2016 by joining the University of California's PPFP consortium to encourage outstanding women and minority Ph.D. recipients to pursue academic careers within academia. The current program offers postdoctoral research fellowships and faculty mentoring to outstanding scholars in all fields whose research, teaching, and service will contribute to the diversity and equal opportunity at the University of Maryland. The contributions to diversity may include public service towards increasing equitable access in fields where women and minorities are underrepresented. In some fields, the contributions may include research focusing on underserved populations or understanding inequalities related to race, gender, disability or LGBT. The program is seeking applicants with the potential to bring to their academic and research careers the critical perspective that comes from their non-traditional educational background or understanding of the experiences of members of groups historically underrepresented in higher education in the United States.

Awards and Appointments

The award includes a salary starting at approximately $60,000 depending on field and experience, benefits including health insurance and paid vacation/sick leave, and up to $10,000 for research-related and program travel expenses. Each award is for a minimum of 12-months and may be renewable for an additional term upon demonstration of academic/research productivity.

Eligibility

Applicants must receive a Ph.D. or terminal degree from an accredited university before the start of their fellowship. Successful applicants must present documents demonstrating that they are a United States citizen or permanent resident.
