team discussing on product review presentation

Product review presentations – they're like the unsung heroes of the business world.

Picture this: you've worked tirelessly on a new product, and now it's time to unveil it to your team or clients.

How do you ensure that your presentation leaves a lasting impression?

Well, that's where a killer product review presentation comes into play!

In this comprehensive guide, we'll dive deep into the art of crafting and delivering a top-notch product review presentation.

What is a product review presentation, and Why is it Important?

A product review presentation is your golden ticket to showcasing your latest creation. It's not just about sharing facts and figures; it's about telling a compelling story that captivates your audience.

Imagine you've created a revolutionary new gadget, "The GigaWidget." Now, you need to present it to your stakeholders. This is where your product review presentation comes in. It's your chance to shine, to convey the essence of GigaWidget, and to win hearts (and investments!).

Product review presentations serve several crucial purposes:

  • Transparency : They keep everyone in the loop about the product's performance.
  • Alignment : They ensure that everyone is on the same page regarding the product's direction.
  • Engagement : They captivate your audience's attention and keep them invested in your product.

Difference between a product review vs. product update presentation

Now, you might be wondering, "Aren't product review and product update presentations the same thing?" Not quite! Let's clarify this before we dive deeper.

Product review presentation : This is a comprehensive assessment of your product's performance, often conducted periodically. It digs into metrics, user feedback, and future strategies.

Product update presentation : This is more focused on sharing recent changes, improvements, or new features of your product. It's like giving your audience a sneak peek into the product's evolution.

While they have different scopes, both types of presentations are crucial for keeping your audience informed and engaged.

KPIs and metrics to add in a product review presentation

Now, let's get analytical. What metrics should you include in your product review presentation to make it truly impactful? Here are some key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to consider:

  • User engagement : How many users are actively using your product?
  • Conversion rates : Are users taking desired actions within your product?
  • Churn rate : How many users are leaving, and why?
  • Revenue growth : Is your product contributing to the company's bottom line?
  • Customer satisfaction : What do your users think of your product?
  • Bug/error eeports : Are there any persistent issues?
  • Market share : How is your product faring against competitors?
  • User feedback : What are users saying on social media and support channels?

Remember, the key is to present these metrics in a visually appealing way. Nobody wants to sit through a presentation filled with endless rows of numbers. Use charts, graphs, and visual aids to make your point effectively.

How to structure an effective product review presentation

Now, let's talk structure. An effective product review presentation should have a clear and engaging flow. Here's a suggested structure:

1. Introduction

  • Grab attention with a compelling opening.
  • Briefly introduce the product and its significance.
  • Provide an overview of what you'll cover.
  • Set expectations for the presentation.

3. Product overview

  • Dive into the details of your product.
  • Highlight key features and benefits.
  • Share any updates or changes since the last review.

4. Performance metrics

  • Present the KPIs and metrics we discussed earlier.
  • Use visuals to make data digestible.

5. User feedback

  • Share user testimonials or comments.
  • Address any concerns or issues raised.

6. Future roadmap

  • Outline your product's future direction.
  • Discuss upcoming features or improvements.
  • Open the floor for questions and discussion.

8. Conclusion

  • Summarize key takeaways.
  • End on a memorable note.

Do’s and don'ts on a product review presentation

Now, let's talk about the do's and don'ts of nailing your product review presentation:

  • Tell a story : Make it engaging by weaving a narrative.
  • Use visuals : Visual aids enhance understanding.
  • Stay concise : Don't overwhelm with information.
  • Practice : Rehearse to boost confidence.
  • Engage the audience : Encourage questions and interaction.

Don'ts:

  • Overload with data : Less is more when it comes to numbers.
  • Rush through slides : Pace yourself for clarity.
  • Ignore user feedback : Address concerns proactively.
  • Neglect preparation : A haphazard presentation is a recipe for disaster.
  • Forget to summarize : End with a clear takeaway.

Summarizing key takeaways

Phew! That was quite a journey through the world of product review presentations. Here's what you need to remember:

  • Product review presentations are vital for transparency, alignment, and engagement.
  • They differ from product update presentations in scope and purpose.
  • Include relevant KPIs and metrics to showcase your product's performance.
  • Structure your presentation with a clear flow.

It often involves using visual aids like videos, images and slideshows to describe product features, benefits, market fit and other relevant details.

Presentations could take place at different stages of the product development process. But when introducing the product to potential buyers, the stakes are never higher. Therefore it's crucial to make your product presentation effective, impactful and memorable like the one below.

brand review presentation

In many organizations, product presentations happen at different levels. For example, top management and executives could unveil a new line of products to the board of directors, investors and potential partners.

Product managers may present a beta or gamma version of a new product to the entire team. In addition, the sales team would have to make product presentations during sales visits to prospects.

Let's face it. There are tons of competing products in the market like yours. Your competitors could be offering similar products or substitutes.

This means that creating useful products may not be enough to set your brand apart or bring in sales. You need product presentations that produce eureka moments for your audience.

Getting it right with your presentations will not only win over your audience, but it'll drive product sales over the top.

But that's just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the benefits of creating product presentations.

Here are other reasons why you need to create and deliver powerful product presentations.

Create a Memorable First Impression

Nowadays, people are faced with an explosion of product choices. This and many more factors have also contributed to their shrinking attention span.

By any chance, your product presentation could be the first interaction an investor, prospect or customer has with your brand. So, you have to make it count.

Your product presentation is an excellent opportunity for you to introduce your product and expand their knowledge about your brand. And nailing it will leave a positive and memorable first impression on your audience.

Best of all, it will nudge them to the consideration and conversion stage of your marketing funnel .

Build Trust and Long-Lasting Client Relationships

Customers will buy and recommend brands that provide incredible product and service experiences.

But how do you communicate value and product offerings to your prospects? How do you tilt customer purchase decisions in your favor?

The golden secret is a product presentation that makes you stand out. How you present your product can influence customers' perceptions of your brand.

During product presentations, you have a chance to showcase product features and promise of value to clients. And when done right, it can ignite a solid business relationship between you and potential customers.

Over time, these customers will trust your product and become loyal to your brand.

Here's what you should know. As a business owner, brand loyalty , customer trust and credibility are your greatest assets. A captivating product presentation will inspire client trust in your product and business.

Stand Out from the Competition

The business world is marked by fierce competition among companies that provide similar products and services.

You probably have a lot of competitors and you're wondering how to distinguish yourself. Start by delivering a flawless product presentation.

As previously stated, your sales presentation should be able to leave an indelible impression on prospects and investors. It would captivate their attention so completely that, regardless of the stiff competition, they would always opt for your brand.

One way to leave a lasting impression is to make your product presentation interactive. An interactive presentation whether presented or read builds a bridge between you and the potential investor or reader. Instead of simply throwing information at them an interactive presentation allows you to layout your storytelling and product information in a way that's engaging and enticing.

For example you might want to add video clips, popups with extra information for additional reading, or add a flip book effect. For more check out 20 Ways to Create an Interactive Presentation That Stands Out.

Boost Sales and Revenue

Having an excellent presentation is the key that unlocks sales for your product.

After your presentation, you certainly want customers to pull out their checks or proceed to the next steps. If you can nail your product presentations, you will win over your audience, gain new customers and increase sales.

On the contrary, mediocre product presentations could hurt your brand. You might even have a top product that has the potential to be a major game-changer. But poor delivery would not only portray you as lacking confidence in your product but could be a turn-off for prospects.

Want to convince your prospects to invest in your business or purchase your products? If the answer is yes, we recommend using a robust product presentation tool like Visme.

Check out the template below to see how Visme can make your product presentation pop.

Product presentations aren't so different from sales pitches. Both presentations focus on providing value or solutions to customers. However, product presentations are primarily focused on products or services.

With product presentations, you'll dive deeper into details like:

  • How your product works
  • How it will solve your customer's needs or pain points
  • The specific benefits your product will bring to your customers

For instance, sales presentations can have a broad focus on your business as a whole rather than a particular product.

Let's say you run an accounting firm that offers a wide range of products and services. Your sales presentations could focus on pitching solutions like:

  • Accounting audit
  • Tax accounting
  • Bookkeeping
  • Forensic accounting

On the flip side, you'll need a product presentation to sell inventory management or accounting software to your clients.

Keep in mind that both presentations are essential for your sales process. The goal is to get your prospects' attention, drum up excitement and move them towards making a purchase decision.

Although product presentations cut across different industries, there's no universally accepted format. However, this infographic template below highlights the key elements of winning a product presentation.

Introduction

Company overview, the problem, product and solution.

  • Promise of Value or Benefits

Product Positioning

Use cases and social proof.

  • Call-to-Action

Together, these key details juice up your product presentation and make it a delight for your audience.

Read on to learn more about the key components of a captivating product presentation.

The introductory part is where you hook your audience in and get them excited about your presentation. It should provide an overview of what you will cover during your presentation.

In this section, you can sum up the purpose of your presentation, why it's relevant to your audience and key takeaways.

Before you get into the product details, start with a general overview of your company. It doesn't matter if your audience is familiar with your business or not. You want to include key details such as:

  • Company name
  • Vision, mission and goals
  • When your business was created
  • The products and services you offer
  • How your business and products have evolved
  • Relevant team members

Here's an intro slide from our startup pitch deck theme you can customize:

brand review presentation

The problem or customer needs should receive more attention than others. This is what your prospects care about most and that's why they are sitting at the other end of the table. So we recommend that you include this section earlier in the presentation.

To attract audience attention, show them you have an in-depth understanding of pain points. Remember to explain how the problem affects your audience and the consequences of not resolving it.

Take note of how the presentation template below emphasizes the problem the product is designed to solve.

brand review presentation

Start by showing your audience how they'll feel or what they could enjoy if they solve that problem. Here, you want to paint a mental picture of a perfect world without those pain points.

While writing this section, be sure to highlight these things:

  • Introduce your product or service, passing any type of quality assurance services .
  • Briefly explain how it addresses the problem and makes their dream of a perfect world a reality.
  • Highlight how your product is made. Is it handcrafted, mass-produced, custom-made or batch produced?
  • Include product details like features, functionalities, specifications, durability, quality and more.

Highlight your product features and process using the beautiful Visme template below.

brand review presentation

Promise of Value

No product presentation is complete without a value proposition. This is where you make a case for your product. Articulating your promise of value will help create an "aha moment" for your prospects.

This section should provide more insight into the value your product Is offering. Here you should:

  • Mention what your audience will get out of the product (product or service experience)
  • Highlight what makes your product unique from other competing products (unique selling proposition)
  • Explain why your prospect should opt for your product (competitive edge)

It's a good idea to center your product pitch around the key benefits your prospects will enjoy. So you want to highlight as many product benefits as possible. It could be productivity, convenience, health and wellness, peace of mind and much more.

Draw attention to your competitive edge and pitch your promise of value to prospective client and customers using the stunning template below.

brand review presentation

Product positioning refers to how you want your market to think or feel about your product. It's a description of who you are as a brand, the products and services you offer, your target market and what makes your product unique.

Here you should talk about:

  • Your brand image and values
  • The positioning of competing products in your target market
  • How your product features and benefits stack up to the competition

The infographic template below highlights the benefit of brand positioning.

brand review presentation

Brand positioning helps to set you apart from your competitors. Think of it as what customers can remember about your brand when they think of similar products.

For example, the Pepsi brand is distinct from the Coca-Cola brand. Even though they are both cola drinks, they have different tastes, looks, connotations and legacies.

To influence customers' perceptions of your brand, you could create a brand positioning statement. For example, a recent marketing campaign by Salesforce highlights their brand positioning statement:

We bring companies and customers together. We make technology that supercharges every part of your company that connects with customers, delivering a 360-degree customer view across sales, marketing, service, e-commerce, mobile apps, connected products and more. CRM also powers integration with all the other parts of your business already humming along, including supply chains and finance, its back office, front office, and offices yet to come.

You could use the Visme template below to communicate your brand guidelines and product positioning.

brand review presentation

This section should provide a visual picture of the customer using your product to address their problems. Here are some ways you can visualize or share them in your presentation.

  • Create a scenario of how customers can use your product to solve their problem.
  • Share customer reviews, testimonials, user ratings, celebrity endorsements, expert reviews and more.
  • Share case studies and real results of how your product has helped similar businesses.
  • Provide a snapshot of your product performance in terms of downloads, engagements, purchases and much more.
  • Mention any product and compliance certifications, documentation, quality badges and awards you've received.
  • Use anecdotes to showcase how existing customers love your solution.

Use this product testimonial slide template to showcase your own customer reviews.

brand review presentation

Call-to-Action (CTA)

Now it's time to tell your viewers what you expect from them. Your call to action will depend on your audience.

It will also depend on the goal of your product presentations, which we'll discuss in the next section.

During in-house product presentations, you might want to ask for feedback from different departments. At a trade show, you might ask to meet prospective customers to meet you at the booth to make purchases.

During B2B presentations, you might request time for questions and more. Ultimately the goal is to get customers to purchase your product.

Most businesses have confidence in their ability to make excellent products. However, they struggle to commercialize or bring in revenues from those products.

Why's that? The attention spans of people in this tech-driven society are shrinking. And the reality is that people no longer have enough time to sit through mediocre product presentations.

Want to drive sales or get a positive return on investment for your product? Then you've got to make your product presentations compelling.

Let's show you how to create compelling product presentations that capture the important elements we've highlighted above.

Step 1: Define Your Goals

Whether you're presenting a new, rebranded or upgraded product, the first thing you need to do is to define your goals and objectives.

Let's say you've launched a new line of products into the market. Firstly, you'll have to spell out what you're looking to achieve with your product presentation?

  • Do you want to get investors' buy-in to expand production capacity?
  • Do you want to secure more funding from management to produce more units?
  • Are you looking to secure partnerships with distributors, retailers or franchisees? Or you want to introduce the new product to your prospects or client.

Secondly, reiterate why it's important for you and your team to achieve these goals? For example, as you'd expect, securing partnerships with distributors could help:

  • Expand your product reach
  • Boost product sales and revenue
  • Increase market share and more

Next, you want to highlight how you intend to communicate with your audience. Also, be clear about what you want your audience to do after watching your presentation.

Do you want your prospects to call you or buy one year's supply of your product? What about in-house presentations? Do you want the sales and marketing team to develop a strategy to introduce the product into a new market? Your presentations should answer these questions in a convincing way.

It makes sense, right? Lastly, remember to make your goals specific, measurable, attainable, realistic and time-bound (SMART).

The success of your presentation is measured by whether your audience understands and acts on your message. Therefore consider your goals in every slide and include a clear call to action.

Not sure how to set SMART goals for your product? Go ahead and use the worksheet below to jumpstart your creativity.

Step 2: Figure Out What Your Audience Needs

If you want to pique your audience's interest in your product, you'll have to figure out what matters most to them and serve it to them. This is what sets successful brands apart.

Don't make the mistake of assuming you know what your target audience wants, which is a trap many businesses fall into. Rather go ahead do these things:

  • Perform in-depth research into your audience
  • Develop buyer personas
  • Delve into customer data to monitor patterns or trends
  • Keep an eye on social media, public forums and industry publications

We get it. You've probably gone through this process during product development. Now you're wondering why it matters during the presentation?

Here's what you should know. Getting access to information is much easier than ever. As a result, potential buyers extensively research products and scan competitors' offerings before making purchases.

So your presentation is an opportunity to demonstrate that you not only understand their pain points, but your products can make their life or business better.

Step 3: Create an Outline

The next step is to outline the main points you want to hit during your presentation.

During presentations, there are usually a lot of key points to cover. Creating an outline helps you ensure things don't fall through the cracks.

First, decide the topics you want to cover and the sequence to present them. Then dedicate a slide to show the outline to your audience. This will give them an idea of what to expect and make your delivery insightful.

The outline we've shared above is an excellent place to start. You can use the template below to organize your ideas in a sequential manner and logical flow.

brand review presentation

Step 4: Pick Out the Right Tool and Template

Presenting your product or services is an art. You need a rich blend of visually appealing slides and powerful delivery to make it effective.

Achieving this may require long hours of planning, strategy, design and organization. You'd have to craft an outline, prepare your slide notes, source royalty-free visuals and use them to design your slides.

Pretty tedious, right. Templates and tools come in handy, making your work easier and faster.

Templates reduce the time it takes to make eye-catching and engaging product presentation slides. In addition, they provide direction on how to keep your content organized and impactful.

Most tools are fairly limited in terms of features and how much you can customize them. However, Visme is an exception to this.

Visme's product presentation templates make it super-easy for anyone to create eye-catching product presentations. The tool has a rich library of templates, tools and visual aids to help you present your product to the world with style and poise.

These ready-made templates are not only customizable, but they cut across any product or niche you can think of. All you have to do is input your content and your product presentation is ready to go.

Using templates like the one below is a great starting point.

brand review presentation

Step 5: Make Your Content Relevant and Compelling

Creating relevant and convincing content is the key to nailing your product presentation.

The other ideas we've shared will make your content more effective. But an excellent presentation begins and ends with great content. It has the potential to capture the hearts and minds of viewers and connect them with your solution.

Don't just assume you can wing it by putting less effort into developing compelling content. You'll need to spend a lot of time researching, brainstorming and writing out the key points relevant to your audiences.

For example, some customers may care more about product quality than price. On the other hand, convenience and ease of use could be a primary concern for other prospects.

While your presentation should be brief, the value proposition should be at the heart of your sales pitch. You want to focus on how the product will benefit the customer rather than the aesthetics.

Here's an Airbnb-inspired slide template that focuses on product benefits:

brand review presentation

Start by describing the world your customers will enjoy after purchase. And be sure to quickly convey what makes your product different.

For instance, the process of buying and installing new equipment can sometimes be tricky and demanding. But it helps companies bring down costs, increase productivity and revenue.

Your content should communicate the problem and what the prospect will enjoy after buying your product. Offering additional perks like pre-purchase and after-sales support can further convince customers to buy.

Step 6: Bring Your Presentation to Life With Attractive Designs

Think about the last time you sat through a dull presentation.

  • What were the slide designs like?
  • Was the color scheme dull or monotonous?
  • Were the visual aids clumsy and difficult to understand?
  • Were there too many ideas crammed on each slide?

You probably zoned away during the presentation. Like you, other people feel the same way about terrible slide decks.

The demand for creative and engaging visual content is at an all-time high. Therefore if you're going to attract audience attention, you need stunning product presentation designs like the one below.

brand review presentation

Regardless of how amazing the quality of your content may be, a poor slide design can be frustrating to watch.

Not only will it hurt your product presentation, but it could undermine your credibility. So, you want to ensure your slide design is not only professional but has a clean and organized layout.

Here's how to get savvy with your slide design.

  • Use legible fonts and stick with a minimum of three fonts throughout your slide deck.
  • Avoid using too many colors in your presentation.
  • Be sure there's a strong contrast between your text color and background color.
  • Tailor your typography, color scheme and visual language to your brand identity .
  • Format your text, images and design element to achieve perfection.

Visme templates incorporate eye-catching images, excellent data visualizations and powerful typography to make your slide decks attractive .

Go ahead and watch the video below to learn design tips for creating awesome presentations.

brand review presentation

Step 7: Use High-quality Graphics and Visual Aids

Incorporating quality visual aids into your product presentation is a must.

Why does it matter? The thing is, you've put in a lot of time and effort into preparing for your big day. So you certainly don't want your prospects to leave the room recalling only a tiny fraction of what you said.

According to a study, 65% of people are visual learners. So adding stunning visuals in your presentations ensures the odds are stacked in your favor.

No matter the type of audience you're looking to reach. Impactful visuals help you communicate your message and ideas more effectively. Best of all, they grab and retain audience attention, build solid emotional connections and keep your presentation on track.

Avoid using pixelated or cheesy images. Even more, stay away from generic stock art, copyrighted or watermarked visuals available. Rather source top-quality photos that enhance your presentation.

A collage of stock photos.

Just like it's important to stick to one main idea per slide, use one or two images per slide. But, again, the key is to use images that convey your message in the most compelling way possible.

Whether you're visualizing financial data or showcasing product features, Visme offers a wide range of visual aids to make your product presentations shine, including:

  • Premium and royalty-free images
  • Short videos and animations
  • Charts and graphs
  • Scatter plots

… and much more.

You don't need to entirely create visual product presentations from scratch. Instead, give yourself a head start by using a modern presentation theme like this one.

A modern presentation theme available in Visme.

Step 8: Determine Follow-Up Questions and Provide Answers

At the end of your product presentation, prospects or investors are likely to have a handful of questions about your product.

Typically prospective customers ask questions to know if the product is a right fit for their organization. These questions could be along the lines of:

  • Scalability
  • Quality assurance
  • Ease of use
  • After-sales support and more

For example, let's say you've built a digital product like customer relationship management (CRM) software. Prospects could ask questions such as:

  • Is your software scalable?
  • Will it support our company's growth and future expansion plans?
  • How will the tool help us manage our day-to-day process?
  • How will the product help our business grow sales, gain a competitive advantage or increase market share?

Most clients could even ask for a live demo or a trial of your software.

Preparing for potential questions will help you avoid getting caught off-guard. It also shows you clearly understand your prospect's needs.

Answering these questions will wow your audience, boost their confidence in your product and help you close the deal.

Step 9: Run It by Your Team and Incorporate Feedback

You've spent time designing your slide and putting your ideas together. Great job. Now your presentation needs a few rounds of edits to make it shine.

Here's how to polish your presentation to make it pop.

  • Keep editing aggressively until your presentation is clear and free of fluff. The goal is to improve language accuracy, flow and overall legibility.
  • Be sure to weed out anything that doesn't relate to the core message.
  • Run it by your mentor and team members, get their feedback and incorporate it into your product presentation.

Getting a fresh pair of eyes to look at your presentation can help you refine it, even if you're a good editor.

Here's the deal. When editing your presentation, your brain could instinctively fill in the gaps with what you wanted to say. But other editors could readily flag errors or point out areas where you aren't expressing your ideas clearly.

Peer editing may seem daunting. But Visme makes it super-easy for you to collaborate with your team. You can share your presentation online with peers. Also, you can download it in HTML5 (with animations) or PDF format and share it via email or other file-sharing platforms.

If you don't have anyone within reach, automated writing assistants like Grammarly and ProWritingAid could come in handy.

Step 10: Practice Your Presentation

If you want to deliver captivating business presentations , rehearse till you become perfect.

Why does it matter anyway? After all, you've gone through the entire product development process and have a good grasp of the product.

Notable speakers like Steve Jobs and Dr. Jill Bolte-Taylor practiced their speeches many times before delivering speeches before getting on stage. And guess what! They nailed it every single time.

Steve Job's rehearsal routine and his ability to communicate their ideas persuasively drove massive sales for Apple products. It has also played a vital role in the success of the Apple brand.

Rehearsals grow your confidence and make you familiar with the key points. As you rehearse, you have a great opportunity to:

  • Weed out the irrelevant points or jargon in your presentations
  • Try something new (like a strong opening or pause to play a clip)
  • Streamline your presentations for the allotted time

Practice your product presentations between five to ten times before the big day. You can do it alone (facing the mirror) on the first day.

Then you can practice before a small group of friends, family, colleagues. This will enable you to see reactions and get natural human feedback.

While you're at it, make sure to time yourself, record your practice sessions and take notes.

Feel free to enunciate tricky words and pause when you notice mistakes. Be sure to analyze, reanalyze and refine your presentation structure as you proceed.

Go ahead and review the recorded clips and feedback from your practice audience. Once done, you can then incorporate the feedback into your remaining practice sessions.

Remember, you shouldn't read your slide or deliver the presentation just the way you memorize it. The goal of rehearsals is to build enough confidence to:

  • Avoid sounding rigid or too rehearsed
  • Present your product or services without appearing unprepared
  • Take questions and comments from your audience without getting lost or overwhelmed

You can learn more about memorizing your presentation and other practice techniques from the video below.

With the tips we've shared, the stage is set for a flawless product presentation.

But you need much more than perfect content and slide design to nail your product presentation .

What's more? You need to convey your message in a compelling and convincing manner. If your delivery is on point, you are on the right path to profitable sales.

Read on to learn how to deliver product presentations that drive action.

1. Start With a Bang

The beginning of your product presentation is super important. How you begin will determine how the rest of the presentation will go. If you start strong, the chances are that you'll end on a high.

Right off the bat, you need to grab your audience's attention, establish credibility and get them in the mood to listen to you.

Don't waste those precious opening minutes rambling on pointless details. Else they'll switch off and you may struggle to get back their attention.

There are many excellent ways to start your presentations off on the right foot.

  • You can tell a captivating story about the circumstance that led you to make the product. If you're rebranding your product, you can talk about how the product has evolved.
  • Quote shocking headlines, figures or statistics related to the purpose of your presentation. For example, you could cite statistics from a study or industry report highlighting the need for your product or solution.
  • Ask a thought-provoking question that sparks curiosity and articulates the problem. For example, "do you spend too much time tracking inventory, leads or sales?" Or do you struggle to increase conversions for your business?
  • Kick-off with a compelling image or video showing customer testimonials, reviews, live videos of customers using your product and much more.

Read on to learn more about starting your presentation on a perfect note.

Give your audience a sneak peek of what to expect from your presentation using the intuitive template below.

2. Tell a Story

Beyond the opening part, it's crucial to tell stories throughout your presentation. It is an excellent way to keep your audience engaged from start to finish.

Storytelling helps your audience connect and remember the main points of your presentation.

For example, you could tell a story about the existing problems in your niche before your product came on the scene.

Another angle could be how your product will change the trajectory of the industry. Using compelling statistics and figures in your storyline can help you build a strong case.

Be sure to use your product pitch as an avenue to convince prospective customers about the superiority of the product or services you're offering.

If you are selling a rebranded or repackaged product, this is your chance to dispel any doubts or false beliefs about your product. Reassure them of the benefits they will enjoy if they buy your product.

Use the template below to share compelling stories that drive interest in your product.

3. Prioritize Your Audience Needs

Your presentation should be designed to meet the needs of your audience. In other words, what benefits will your audience gain from your presentation?

When planning your presentation, make sure it is relevant to your target audience and piques their interest. Find out what your audience needs to know rather than focus on what you feel like telling them.

Customize your slide to address the subjects that are most important to your clients. Then, make your delivery simple enough for your audience to understand and respond.

During your presentation, you should also pay attention to the body language and reactions of your audience. Interpreting their moods and emotions can keep you track and help you achieve your presentation goals.

4. Keep It Short, Simple and Sweet

A product presentation isn't an academic presentation or keynote address. So you're not going to have all the time in the world. And, most of all, no one wants to sit for hours listening to a long presentation.

According to studies, attention levels during presentations dip substantially after 30 minutes.

While delivering your presentation, always remember that you won't have your prospect's time and patience for so long.

So you want to ask: What is the core message for my audience to take away? What's the least amount of time I need to convey the key points concisely?

Guy Kawasaki's 10/20/30 rule says that the ideal presentation should have no more than ten slides, last 20 minutes with a font size of at least 30 points.

business presentation - infographic 10 20 30 rule guy kawasaki

Whichever rule you choose, make sure to keep your core message focused and brief. And if what you are planning to say doesn't add value to that core message, leave it out.

5. Maintain the Right Body Language

Body language or non-verbal cues play a critical role in your presentation. It can make all the difference between a successful presentation and a disastrous one.

Here's why. People pay 90% more attention to the tone of voice and body language than the actual words.

This means people don't just pay attention to what you're saying. They notice other non-verbal cues such as eye contact, facial expressions, gestures, postures and body movements. Having the correct body language can help you win over your audience and keep them hooked to your presentation,

Here are a few positive body language tips to help you connect with your audience.

  • Wear a genuine smile
  • Make every effort to stay relaxed
  • Assume a power pose during your presentation
  • Demonstrate your individuality, passion and interest in the subject
  • Maintain eye contact with individual members of the audience
  • Speak clearly and make your voice a little louder than you believe it should be
  • Make use of the space and Interact with your audience as you move around the stage
  • Don't speak too fast, but also don't speak too slowly
  • Use occasional arm movements
  • Don't slouch or lean over the podium
  • Remember to breathe and take occasional pauses in-between speeches

Lastly, be confident in your ability. People won't trust anything you have to say if you don't sound authentic.

You've put in so much work to develop a great product. Don't lose your enthusiasm when you stand before your audience.

Do your best to speak about it from the heart. Doing this will leave a positive impression on your audience and inspire trust in your product.

6. Invite Questions From Your Audience

After your presentation, thank your audience for listening. You can further improve engagement by inviting your audience to ask questions.

Listen to the questions carefully and provide clear-cut answers. If you don't understand the question, feel free to ask for more clarification. Be honest with your audience and don't make promises you can't deliver.

7. Leave a Lasting Impression

Ending your presentation poorly can sabotage all the efforts you've put in so far. Hence the need to conclude your presentation on a high.

Your conclusion should summarize the major points of the presentation. It should also leave a memorable impression in the minds of your audience and encourage them to take action.

There are many viable ways to create a memorable conclusion.

  • You could reiterate the important points, such as your product benefits and unique value proposition.
  • This could be an excellent opportunity to share compelling reviews and testimonials about your product. If your product has earned awards, recognitions and notable features, be sure to showcase it.
  • Close with a story that refers back to the opening message.
  • End with an interesting question you asked at the beginning of your presentation.
  • Highlight compelling figures and case studies about your product.

For example, you could mention that your software has helped company A increase productivity and sales by 55%.

On a more practical note, imagine you offer on-demand delivery services. You could mention that your product has helped improve access to delivery services and cut down delivery expenses for more than 200,000 customers. Then go ahead and highlight how your prospects can enjoy these benefits too.

Make sure to add a clear and compelling call to action. Let them know what you expect from them and the next steps. For example, you could ask prospects to purchase a premium version of the software or buy a year's supply of your product.

What is a brand refresh?

A brand refresh is a strategic set of changes made to a brand’s identity to realign with current marketplace trends. It is an opportunity to stay relevant and competitive in a dynamic marketplace.

Businesses looking to refresh their identity would change elements such as:

  • Color palette
  • Visual style
  • Writing style

One defining characteristic of a brand refresh is its subtlety. It's like a "sharpening up" of the brand : making small changes while focusing on existing visual elements.

The result? A brand that looks fresh and sharp while maintaining the essence and familiarity that customers associate with the brand. Take a look at some successful brand refresh examples:

brand review presentation

These examples retain familiar elements and can be easily recognizable to the audience, but they have evolved to align with market changes. This helps them continue to position themselves in the market.

However, sometimes we need more than just a brand refresh . There are instances when a more powerful change is required, and that's when a rebrand comes into play.

Understanding the difference: Brand refresh vs. rebrand

A brand refresh revitalizes your brand without making radical changes to it , being more an evolution than a revolution. It acknowledges some aspects that need improvement but does them in a way that the brand maintains its essence and familiarity without transforming it entirely.

On the other hand, a rebrand makes profound changes to the brand on a foundational level , creating an entirely new brand identity. It goes beyond making some adjustments to your logo, revitalizing marketing materials, or changing your color palette a little. It can change core elements of the business, including:

  • Brand positioning
  • Brand values
  • Brand guidelines
  • Mission and vision

A successful rebrand example is the transformation of McDonald's McCafé:

brand review presentation

In 2009, McDonald's saw a chance to improve its image and attract more people by changing its coffee brand called McCafé. They updated the look of McCafé stores, hired baristas, and added more types of high-quality coffee. The goal was to make McCafé known for good coffee, appealing to a wider range of customers beyond just fast-food lovers.

These are some key differences between a Brand Refresh vs. Rebrand:

How do you implement a brand refresh?

Congratulations on completing your brand refresh! Now it's time to start implementing the changes across your materials, such as brochures, websites, and, most importantly, PowerPoint presentations.

Elevating your PowerPoint presentations: Upgrading existing slides to align with the brand refresh

Upgrading your existing slides to align with the brand refresh is important in ensuring consistent and impactful communication . Fortunately, implementing a PPT refresh is easier than you might think. Follow these steps to learn how to do it effectively and even discover a shortcut along the way:

Step 1: Gather branding assets

Collect all the necessary branding assets that will be used in your refreshed PowerPoint presentations:

  • Obtain the brand color palette: Once you have agreed on the colors, write down their code (the 6-symbol code starting with a hashtag) so you can manually add them to your PowerPoint template’s palette.
  • Collect updated logo files: Locate your brand's logo versions. Ensure you have high-quality versions in appropriate file formats, such as PNG or SVG, to ensure optimal resolution and flexibility.
  • Confirm approved fonts: Take note of the specific font names and variants (e.g., regular, bold, italic) that have been approved.
  • Gather additional visual elements: Collect any other graphic elements that represent your brand, such as icons, illustrations, or imagery.
  • Create a branding assets folder: Create a folder on your computer or cloud storage platform to consolidate all the branding assets. This is what it should look like:

brand review presentation

Step 2: Create a branded template

The easiest way to adapt all your presentations and ensure a consistent brand identity is by creating a versatile branded template encompassing various content types.

brand review presentation

Determine the number and types of slides

Start by deciding the total number of slides needed for your presentation and identify the different types of slides required. Consider the content you want to present and categorize it into sections or topics, for example:

  • Title Slide
  • Content Slide
  • Graph or Chart Slide
  • Quote Slide
  • Image Slide
  • Comparison Slide
  • Agenda Slide
  • Conclusion Slide
  • Testimonial Slide
  • Infographic Slide

And any other slide types that are relevant to your business.

Set up placeholders

Determine how each slide will look and what elements it will include. Plan the visual structure and design for each slide type to maintain consistency throughout the presentation.

This includes defining the desired appearance of headings, subheadings, bullet points, and image captions placeholders, ensuring that these styles align with your brand aesthetic and improve readability.

brand review presentation

Add your brand 's colors, theme and typography

  • Add your brand's colors: Use the brand color palette to add the brand's colors to your template. Apply these colors to the slide background, text boxes, shapes, and other design elements.
  • Apply the brand theme: Go to the Design tab and select the "Themes" dropdown menu. Choose the appropriate theme that aligns with your brand refresh.
  • Use the approved fonts: Use the confirmed font names and variants for headings, subheadings, and body text. Remember that consistency in font selection creates a professional look and reinforces brand recognition.

Incorporate graphical elements

  • Insert brand logos: Insert the updated brand logo onto the slides. Place it consistently, like in the top or bottom corner.
  • Add visual elements: Use the additional visual elements you gathered, such as icons, illustrations, or imagery, to enhance your slides.

Step 3: Adapt existing presentations to the branded template

  • Adapt existing presentations: Gather and update all relevant presentations to adhere to the new branded template.
  • Share the branded template: Ensure all relevant team members can access the new template for adapting their presentations.
  • Communicate the changes: Send a clear and concise communication explaining the importance of using the new branded template to maintain a consistent brand identity.
  • Provide training and resources: Conduct training sessions and create instructional materials (step-by-step instructions, video tutorials, or live demonstrations) to guide team members in adapting their presentations.
  • Set a deadline: Establish a deadline for adapting all presentations to the new template, ensuring a timely transition and consistent brand identity.
  • Regularly reinforce brand consistency: Emphasize the importance of maintaining consistent brand identity in presentations.

And that's it! By following these steps, you will successfully adapt your presentations to the new branded template, ensuring a consistent and professional brand identity throughout your materials.

Expert insights for a successful brand refresh in PowerPoint

If you're considering updating your brand's presentation in PowerPoint, we've got you covered. Our in-house design experts have shared their valuable insights to help you succeed.

Meet Reinald Victorio Valentine , Rengga Zulkarnaen , and Muhammad Zaenuri , design managers from 24 Slides, ready to guide you through the process. Let's explore their expert tips and make your brand refresh a success.

Understand your brand: Lay the foundation

The first insight is to start from scratch. As Muhammad suggests:

“Like all branding initiatives, the most successful begin with thorough research to gain a better understanding of your business and the specific needs of your customers.”

So, start by conducting thorough research to deeply understand your brand's identity and your customers' needs. This knowledge will serve as a solid foundation for when you’re actually doing the presentation. As Reinald reminds us:

“Understand the brand's traits like photos, colors, fonts, shapes, and icons. This is crucial for a brand refresh as it helps determine the next steps to update the presentation according to our needs. This will allow us to play, be creative and explore with the design elements we have.”

Know your target audience: Design with precision

To create a compelling presentation, you need to understand your target audience. Consider the industry, demographics, and professional background of your audience. While being flexible, ensure your design aligns with your brand's identity. As Reinald and Rengga emphasize:

“Knowing our target audience is essential to address them effectively. By understanding our audience, we can design the presentation appropriately. For instance, if we are presenting to health professionals in a healthcare company, we should opt for clear colors, legible fonts, and maintain a professional tone while staying true to the brand's characteristics.”

Consistency is key: Maintain brand cohesion

A point everyone agrees on is that consistency is crucial during a brand refresh. While exploring design possibilities, stick to your brand's identity. As Reinald advises:

"Keep your design consistent with your brand's characteristics. Play with colors, fonts, and images while maintaining a consistent and professional look that aligns with the established brand’s identity."

And as Muhammad highlights, it's crucial to ensure that everyone in your business is aligned and informed about the brand refresh and how to apply it to presentations:

“Introduce your teammates to the brand refresh, provide them with necessary assets like new fonts, elements, and photographic files. Maintain consistency by using the updated presentation templates when communicating with everyone.”

Why is brand refresh important?

Branding is an ongoing process ; it involves change from time to time. Why? Because it aims to resonate with people, and as individuals continuously evolve, so should the brand.

It is vital to adapt and grow; otherwise, there is a risk of becoming irrelevant - a refresh prevents that from happening. Some of the most popular brands of today would not have achieved what they have unless they had undergone refreshes .

Having a brand refresh will reflect a new, current, and up-to-date image of your company, which is reassuring to existing customers and attractive to new ones.

What is brand refresh vs. redesign?

A brand refresh is a subtle set of changes in a brand's identity to stay pertinent in a changing marketplace while keeping its essence and familiarity. It encompasses the "sharpening up" of various components, including visual elements, messages, and writing style.

On the other hand, a brand redesign primarily focuses on updating the visual aspects of the brand: color palette, logo, typography, etc. It can be a part of a more comprehensive rebranding or brand refresh process, or it can be done independently to refresh its image and make it more appealing to the target audience.

Short answer

What makes an effective product launch presentation?

An effective product launch presentation captivates with a clear value proposition, engages with compelling storytelling, and persuades with data-driven results.

It's visually appealing, audience-focused, and concludes with a strong call-to-action, setting the stage for market success.

Most new products fail - does yours have what it takes to succeed?

Think about this: every year, over 30,000 new products try to make their mark, yet 95% of them don't catch on.

Most new products fail to launch because they fail to grab attention with a compelling product launch presentation.

In a sea of competition, only the most compelling, clear, and persuasive presentations manage to break through the noise.

So, how do you make sure your product doesn't become just another statistic?

In this blog post, I’ll walk you through real, actionable strategies and examples to make your product launch presentation a hit.

Let’s get started!

What is the purpose of a product launch presentation?

Capture attention: Immediately engage your audience with a striking introduction that makes them want to learn more.

Highlight value: Directly address how your product solves a specific problem or fulfills a need, making it indispensable to your audience.

Drive action: Motivate your audience to take the next step, be it purchasing, subscribing, or sharing, by presenting a clear and compelling call to action.

How to structure a product launch presentation?

Introduction: Begin with an impactful opening that immediately captures interest. Use a compelling question, a relatable problem, or a striking statistic to draw your audience in and set the tone for what’s to come.

Problem statement: Articulate the specific problem or need your product addresses. This is where you connect with your audience by highlighting a universal challenge they face.

Solution presentation: Unveil your product as the solution to the problem identified. Detail its features and benefits, emphasizing how it offers a practical and innovative solution.

Market analysis: Provide an overview of the current market landscape. This includes trends, consumer behavior, and market needs, establishing the context in which your product enters the market.

Competitive analysis: Dive into how your product stands out from the competition. Discuss your product’s unique selling points (USPs) and how these differences position it as a superior choice.

Customer testimonials or case studies: Share success stories or endorsements from early users or beta testers. Real-world examples add credibility and illustrate the tangible impact of your product.

Pricing and packages: Provide clear, straightforward information about pricing and any packages or deals. Make it easy for your audience to understand what they're getting.

Marketing strategy: Before you call your audience to action, outline your marketing strategy. This shows how you plan to support the product post-launch, reassuring your audience of its longevity and value.

Call to Action (CTA): Conclude with a compelling CTA. Direct your audience towards a specific action, whether it’s making a purchase, signing up for a demo, or following your brand for more updates.

What does a product launch presentation look like?

A product launch presentation is a dynamic and interactive deck that captivates your audience, making them feel like active participants rather than passive listeners. It does more than just share information; it creates an experience.

Here’s what a modern product launch presentation looks like:

What makes a successful product launch presentation?

Engaging storytelling: It starts with a story that resonates. This narrative weaves through the entire presentation, making the problem, solution, and benefits of your product felt on a personal level.

Visual impact: High-quality images, embedded videos, and data visualization components bring your product and its benefits to life. These elements work together to create a visual story that complements your spoken words.

Interactivity : Interactive elements like narrated design, surveys, and clickable demos involve the audience, transforming your presentation into a two-way conversation.

Strong Call to Action: The presentation ends with a clear and compelling call to action. Whether it's signing up for a trial, making a purchase, or simply learning more, the CTA is direct and easy for the audience to follow.

How to make a product launch presentation?

In a world where the majority of new products struggle to make an impact, your presentation is the golden ticket to standing out. Let's explore how to craft a product launch presentation that not only showcases your product but also makes it irresistible.

1) Know your audience

Understanding your audience is the cornerstone of a successful presentation. Dive deep into their world—what challenges do your ideal customers face? What solutions have they tried and found wanting?

Personalizing your presentation to address these specific concerns makes your audience feel seen and valued, significantly boosting the relevance and impact of your message.

2) Define your presentation goals

Clarity in your presentation's purpose is crucial. Are you aiming to ignite interest, drive pre-orders, or secure investment?

This goal will dictate your presentation's structure, content, and call to action. It acts as a guiding light, ensuring every element of your presentation is aligned with achieving this objective.

3) Start with a bang

Your first words are your first impression. Start with something that sticks—a startling statistic, a compelling story, a question that piques curiosity, or a bold statement that challenges conventional wisdom.

For example:

"In a world where every second counts, we've found a way to give you hours back."

piques curiosity and positions your product as a revolutionary solution from the outset.

4) Highlight the problem

David Ogilvy's insight, “More often new products fail because they are not new enough,” underscores the importance of highlighting a genuine problem.

Make your audience feel the pinch of the issue your product resolves, making your solution not just wanted, but needed.

Illuminate the problem your product solves in a way that your audience can feel the pain. This creates a context for your product's introduction and underscores its necessity. Remember, the more relatable the problem, the more desirable the solution.

It's about striking a balance—your product shouldn't be so ahead of its time that it's alien, nor should it be so familiar that it fails to excite.

Here's a great example of a problem slide:

Product launch presentation problem slide example

5) Unveil the solution

When introducing your product, clarity and simplicity are key. Explain how it addresses the problem you've outlined, focusing on features that translate directly into benefits.

This is where your product moves from being a concept to a tangible solution in the minds of your audience.

6) Highlight the benefits

Features tell, but benefits sell. Articulate how your product enriches or simplifies life for your customer. Whether it's saving time, reducing costs, or enhancing well-being, benefits that resonate on an emotional level are incredibly compelling.

Here's a great example of solution and benefits slides:

Product launch presentation solution and benefits slide

7) Conduct solid research

Akio Morita once famously said:

“We don’t believe in market research for a new product unknown to the public. So we never do any.”

While this may have worked for Sony, today's market demands solid research. Understanding your market, competition, and consumer behavior is non-negotiable for crafting a presentation that hits home.

Here's a great market research slide:

8) Incorporate interactive elements

Enhancing your presentation with interactive elements can transform a standard pitch into an engaging, memorable experience.

For instance, embedding interactive charts allows your audience to explore data points relevant to your product's success in real-time.

Interactive timelines can illustrate your product's development journey or future roadmap in a visually dynamic way, inviting the audience to engage with your content at their own pace.

Additionally, incorporating clickable sections within your presentation can lead viewers to more detailed information, videos, or testimonials, enriching their understanding and appreciation of your product without overwhelming them with information all at once.

These interactive elements keep your audience engaged and provide a deeper, more personalized exploration of what your product has to offer.

Here's a great example of an interactive slide:

9) Demonstrate your product in action

A live demo or a well-crafted video demonstration can be incredibly persuasive. It offers proof of concept and allows your audience to see your product in action. This tangible experience can be the push your audience needs to move from interest to action.

10) Personalize your presentation

Personalization can significantly increase the impact of your presentation.

Tailoring content to reflect your audience's specific industry, interests, or challenges shows that you understand and care about their unique needs, making your product more relevant and appealing.

Here's how you can easily personalize your presentation using Storydoc:

How to personalize your decks with Storydoc

11) Provide social proof

Incorporating social proof lends credibility to your product. It's the difference between taking your word for it and seeing evidence of your product's impact. This builds trust and can significantly influence decision-making.

For new products, traditional forms of social proof like user testimonials may not be readily available. However, you can leverage beta tester feedback, expert endorsements, or pilot study results as powerful forms of social proof.

By using influencer search tools you can engage with industry influencers to review your product or secure a seal of approval from a reputable authority within your field. This can also serve as compelling evidence of your product's value and effectiveness.

Even highlighting the number of pre-orders or waitlist signups can act as social proof, showcasing demand and anticipation for your product.

Example of a social proof slide:

12) Present your marketing strategy

When it comes to your product launch presentation, unveiling your marketing strategy is like showing the roadmap of how you plan to introduce your product to the world.

It's not just about the product itself but how you're going to make sure it reaches the right people, in the right way, at the right time.

This part of your presentation should clearly outline the channels you'll use, whether it's social media, email marketing, influencer partnerships, or traditional advertising.

Explain how each channel fits into your overall strategy and the role it plays in engaging your target audience. This is your chance to show that you've not only created a great product but that you also have a solid plan to ensure it's a success.

Here's a great example of a marketing strategy slide:

13) Create a compelling call to action

Your conclusion should be a clear, compelling invitation to take the next step—whether that's to learn more, sign up, or make a purchase. Make this action as simple and straightforward as possible, removing any barriers to engagement.

Here's a great example of a CTA slide:

Brand Audiences Audit Template

Brand Audiences Audit Template

If there’s a primary make-or-break tenet of branding, it’s “know your audience.” Ask the following questions of your brand:

  • Who are your existing customers?
  • Who are your potential customers?
  • Who is your target audience?
  • What are the reasons that some customers might choose to abandon your products or services?

If you are out of touch with your audience, you not only risk a decrease in brand loyalty, but also further alienation of your customers by not understanding why they rely on your products and services (and therefore, how you can better serve them in the future). It goes without saying that this dynamic could eventually lead to a decrease in revenue.

Use this customizable brand audiences audit template to build and future-proof long-lasting customer relationships. The template provides a framework for evaluating the details of your brand’s core identity and your brand messaging, and for measuring your brand’s EMV. The template also encourages you to identify what you want your brand to evoke. Answering the questions in this template to effectively assess all pertinent details for dynamic brand improvement, which will result in new opportunities, higher levels of customer satisfaction and retention, and ultimately, increased revenue.

4 Elements of a Successful Brand Refresh

  • Ana Andjelic

brand review presentation

Focus on products, narrative, pop culture, and customer needs.

A successful brand revival does not happen in a single moment. There are no shortcuts. There is only a continuum of strategic, creative, and operational decisions that, if executed consistently, put a brand on the path to cultural relevance, consumer love, and business success. This story is much less exciting to tell, but much more effective in the long run.

To successfully reinvent your brand, you must rethink your approach to product, story, culture, and customer. Brand rebounds often seem simple, logical, and inevitable when they are taught in business school courses and cited in the media. But few revival attempts are successful, and in the uncommon event that they do succeed, they usually take years or decades to yield significant results.

For all brands, whether established or new, pitching your identity and intentions as a brand should be an important part of presentations. But, it’s not always easy to showcase your brand in the way you envision. This is why knowing how to create the perfect branding deck is important. With Prezi, merging your ideas into a branding presentation has never been easier. Read on to learn more about what a branding deck is and get the knowledge you need to showcase your brand in the right way.

What is a branding presentation?

People use branding presentations for several reasons. They can be used to introduce a brand and explain their values and business strategy. They’re also used to brief marketing teams or partners or align internal teams with the brand’s direction. They can be useful for all brands, from newly established to global companies.

A branding presentation will usually consist of:

  • Brand overview;
  • Detailed information about the brand’s target market;
  • How the brand positions itself in the market;
  • Showcase of the brand’s visual elements (logo, color palette, imagery);
  • Explanation of the brand’s communication style (voice, tone);
  • Examples of how the brand identity is applied across various mediums;
  • Brand guidelines and standards.

Examples of branding presentations

We’ve put together some examples of branding presentations that were created using Prezi.

Personal branding presentation

The following example is a personal branding presentation, which uses the same principles as a normal branding presentation. Only, the brand you’re selling is yourself. This presentation is created by the help of Prezi AI , and you can reuse this presentation example and fill in the placeholders with your own information. You can showcase your strengths, values, and goals, and add a personal touch to make it authentically yours. Or, you can also use Prezi AI to create a presentation like this in minutes or even seconds.

Fashion branding presentation

The following branding presentation could be used for a fashion brand. The presentation design, created using Prezi AI , matches the aesthetic appeal a fashion brand might want to use. This is a good example of storytelling as the presentation moves through each point telling the audience about the brand and what their intentions are. The fashion brand presentation also explores its identity and heritage, which is a great way to connect with the audience on a personal level. You can simply reuse this presentation, add your content and personal touch, and present it right away.

Grammarly brand presentation

This presentation on Grammarly is a great example of staying consistent and true to your brand. When you look at the overall theme of the presentation, such as the colors and fonts used, you can see that the brand identity is solid all the way through. This is a great way of sharing what you envision your brand to look like with the audience.

8 Tips to help you create the best branding presentation

Now we know what a branding presentation should consist of, let’s look at some tips to help you in the creation process.

Start with a strong story

In order to captivate your audience from the beginning, you need to come up with a story that captures your brand’s mission, vision, and values. A storytelling approach helps to engage your audience emotionally and intellectually, making your brand’s purpose and direction clear from the outset.

Know your audience

Think about who you’re presenting to, as this will help you highlight the more relevant aspects of your brand. Whether you’re presenting to clients, stakeholders, or internal teams, tailor your branding presentation to the specific interests and expectations of your audience.

Branding presentation for an audience.

Highlight the unique value proposition

In order for people to take your brand seriously, you should talk about what sets you apart from your competitors. Think about the unique benefits your brand offers compared to similar brands, and highlight these points. You should make your unique value proposition the main focus of your presentation to showcase why your brand matters.

Use interesting visuals

Another great way to grab your audience’s attention is to make your branding presentation look visually interesting. You should include your brand logo and color scheme throughout to reinforce who you are. When it comes to including imagery, it’s important to choose images that correlate with your message, and they should be relevant to the information on your presentation slides. When used in the right way, visuals can be really good at strengthening the points you’re making.

Examples of your brand in action

The best way to get people on board with your brand is to make them believe in it. The best way to do this is to show them your brand in action. This could be from brand packaging and advertising examples to displaying your digital presence. By showing how your branding is applied in real-world circumstances, you’re bringing your brand to life, rather than just talking about it.

Be concise and focused

Your audience is going to soak in information better if you keep your presentation clear and to the point. Think about the key points you want to make, and stick to them. You could use each slide of your branding presentation to make one key point, this way you’re not overloading each slide with too much information, which can be confusing. When thinking about how you want your presentation to look, avoid cramming your slides with too much text and too many visual elements. Your message will come across much clearer if you keep it simple.

Interactive elements

This is an aspect that can really boost your presentation and make it less boring. For branding presentations, you might want to include interactive elements like a live demonstration or an interactive session where the audience can experience your products or platform firsthand. Another idea might be to encourage your audience to participate in discussions, like sharing their experiences or expectations of your product or service. For virtual branding presentations, use Live Prezi to take interactivity to the next level. With Live Prezi, you can create an interactive presentation experience in real-time. Simply set up your link and share it with anyone, anywhere. Up to 100 participants can join your Live Prezi session and follow along as you guide them through your compelling content.

End with a clear call to action

It’s important that you make it clear to your audience what action you need them to take following your presentation. This might be seeking approval or feedback, or a specific, unique action you require from your branding presentation. Either way, you should be clear about the next steps you want the audience to take following your presentation.

Pitfalls to avoid

We’ve already discussed things that you should consider when creating your branding deck, now let’s look at some mistakes you should avoid.

Too much information

A common mistake when making branding presentations is putting too much information onto the slides. Overloading slides in this way is going to be distracting for your audience. Try using bullet points to make each point clear and use visuals that complement your spoken words. With Prezi’s AI text editing tool , you can easily modify your text to match your desired outcome in seconds. Make text longer, shorter, or create a concise and engaging list.

Inconsistency

When you use a mixture of styles, fonts and colors throughout your branding presentation, it screams amateur. You should make sure the whole thing looks in alignment with your brand and stays consistent for the whole presentation. Staying constant with the visual aspect helps to paint a picture of what your brand looks like. To feel more confident in your design choices, use Prezi’s AI presentation maker – it’ll suggest matching color schemes, layouts, and more, to match your topic and style.

Underestimating your audience’s knowledge

Assuming your audience knows too little or too much can cause confusion. Make your presentation just right for what they know about your brand and the field it’s in. Give them new things to learn without making it too simple.

Skipping your brand’s story

People tend to resonate with stories and purposes. Failing to talk about who you are as a brand and what you stand for can cause your audience to disconnect. You should make it a personal branding presentation that mentions your values and intentions.

Failure to mention competitors

It’s important to let your audience know where your brand sits in the market. When you fail to discuss your competitors, your audience may deem this ignorant or naive. The purpose of mentioning your competitors is to show how your brand can outshine them and what values you have to offer that they don’t. Without this, your audience will be left with questions about your brand’s uniqueness and whether you’ll fit in the market.

Forgetting to proofread

If your presentation contains typos, spelling mistakes, or inaccuracies, you may come across as unprofessional and questions about your brand’s credibility may arise. Remember, branding presentations are all about giving off a good first impression, so make sure you’ve checked each slide properly before your big moment arrives.

Don’t rely too heavily on text

When the screen is crammed with text, it can make your branding presentation look dull and make it harder for your audience to follow. By using visuals to explain your points instead of lots of text, the audience can process your message much faster. After all, you’re going to be the voice of the brand, so stick to a few bullet points and elaborate with speech.

Not preparing for questions

Your audience is bound to have questions about your brand and goals, and how you plan on reaching these goals. Since there’s no way of knowing what questions will be thrown at you, it’s a good idea to prepare beforehand.

The Rise of the Year in Review

Year in reviews used to be a bit dry and stuffy. Often, a company would distill all of its accomplishments into a lengthy PDF or a web page dense with text, still images, bullet points, and old-fashioned charts and graphs. No matter how great a year they may have had, these reports often failed to capture the excitement and relevance of all that they had done.

Year in reviews are now avenues for creative storytelling . Instead of boring statistics and figures, data visualizations sculpt these numbers into something more impactful. Micro-interactions , animations, and other touches of movement bring a sense of energy. All of the elements in a user experience come together in communicating a company’s achievements and capturing the essence of who they are.

We are increasingly seeing year in review examples that harness the creative potential of web design to tell company narratives in ways that are fresh and engaging.

Gorgeous Year in Review Examples

Now that we’ve covered some of the ways that year end reviews help companies and organizations in telling their stories, let’s take a closer look at ten year in review examples, dissecting the multitude of styles and techniques that work together to create the final product.

How to perfect your brand presentation

Back in the day, the concept of a full “ brand identity design ” applied mostly to major corporations with a huge marketing presence. Everyone else got along well enough with just a logo; at best, one that could be stamped on letterhead and business cards too.

Now, even small businesses have to think right from the start about how their brand is going to work across a website (on several types of device), social media, print media, product packaging and swag; and, yes, letterhead and business cards as well.

And you, the designer, have to find a way to present your design in a way that proves it is up to the task. How on earth do you fill such a tall order?

To find the answer, we sifted through the best, most professional and innovative brand presentations and campaigns of 2016—among them Grubhub, Guinness, AT&T and the Tate—to see how the world’s best design firms presented their initial work. We grouped our findings into the 10 categories below.

1. Illustrate your concept

Image via Manual

Most logos have an underlying concept or idea, even a simple one. Manual’s design for Fort Point Beer Company, for example, uses one of the steel trusses from a picturesque bridge near the brewery’s location. By including a handsome photograph of this object in their brand presentation, they really make their concept click.

The same firm also designed a new identity for the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco. By itself it  might just look like an abstract polygon, but in fact the concept was based on the unique shape of Yerba Buena’s site, and is also meant to represent arrows expanding outward to signify growth. The concept behind this one is a little less obvious, so their map image, which they also animated to illustrate the expansion component, really makes a difference.

2. Showcase your creative process

Image via DesignBridge

As any art lover will tell you, knowing the story behind how a great work was created can really add to your appreciation of it. The same goes for your branding work. DesignBridge had an especially impressive process in creating Guinness’ new, more realistic harp logo. They went to one of the oldest harp manufacturers in the United Kingdom to actually spend time with the instruments and capture their visual essence. They make sure to highlight this special effort in their brand presentation, and also include sketches to show their working process.

Image via UnderConsideration

Interbrand took a simple but effective approach in their brand presentation for AT&T. They simply included a collage of photographs documenting their creative process. It gives a sense of the many iterations they considered before arriving at the finished product.

3. Distinguish your design from the old one

Image via Wolff Olins

If a company has hired you to create their first ever brand identity, then you have a clean slate. But if you are replacing an existing one, then you need to make an extra effort to demonstrate how your work is superior to what came before. Wolff Olins ‘ approach was to juxtapose their sleek new design (shown at left above) with a motley collage of old brand materials (right), which together show how crude and disjointed the old brand had become.

Interbrand’s AT&T design is very similar to the old one. Their task was not a complete overhaul, but rather a small tweak to make the brand more effective across new 21st century media. Thus, their approach to presenting their work was simply to overlay their new design on top of the old one and point out its small but significant improvements.

4. Go into detail

Typographic wordmark designs require a tremendous amount of precise crafting. Unfortunately, to a layperson client, it might look like you did little more than select a font. To show them that your design is more than “just a font,” do what Uber did: go in to detail with a grid that shows all the specific lengths, widths and angles that make your wordmark aesthetically successful.

5. Show your design’s flexibility

Recognize that hexagon? It’s the outline of Manual’s logo for Yerba Buena Center for the Arts (discussed earlier). This image is a mockup of how their design could be modified to visually organize Yerba Buena’s advertisements, season catalogs or even signage. Such flexibility is a key value in contemporary branding. If you can show that your design can unify a complex platform of marketing elements, you will be in good shape.

Image via Interbrand Australia

Can you spot the logo here, by Interbrand Australia for Australian Design Center? This “modular” logo’s basic form is the third one from the left, consisting of three simple blocks topped by a triangle. Its genius lies in its flexibility: it is able to expand to incorporate other visual and textual elements, or contract into smaller shapes to fit on smaller screen sizes. If the designer had simply presented the logo’s primary form to the client, it might have seemed ridiculously simple. But by showing its various iterations, it looks marvelously versatile.

Images via Wolff Olins

Being flexible doesn’t have to be as complicated as Australian Design Centre’s acrobatic manuever. Wolff Olins made a more simple effort to show how their elegant wordmark can shift and bend into different formations while still being recognizable as the brand that it is.

6. Prove it is adaptable

This suggestion is similar to the last one, but not quite the same. Proving flexibility means showing your design is capable of shape shifting to work across different environments. Proving adaptability means showing how one single design can maintain its integrity within different parameters. Here, Interbrand shows its client how their logo can look good in front of white backgrounds, black backgrounds, colored backgrounds and photographs—something that was not true of the old, three dimensional looking design.

Another example is DesignBridge’s Guinness logo. Here they show how it still looks good in black and white, and in an embossed gold form. Very handsome indeed.

7. Justify your color scheme

The color scheme is one of the most tricky and ineffable, yet crucially important, aspects of a brand identity design. There are tons of questionable studies out there about the psychology of color, but at the end of the day it largely comes down to sensible taste. How do you convey something like that to a client? Skip the Pantone swatches and demonstrate your color scheme using real brand elements, like Manual did with their stationery for YBCA.

Uber took a more more innovative, adaptable approach to color: the color scheme and graphic background patterns for their app change depending on one’s location in the world. This idea is somewhat opaque in theory, so their visual demonstration is very helpful. Each of these collages shows a city and a typical local pattern or landscape, next to the color schemes into which these translate.

8. Show off your typeface

Image via Enchilada

Kudos to you if you have the skills to create a custom typeface for your client, like Enchilada (great name, by the way) did for Rotterdams Harmonisch Orkest. But even if you’re just selecting a typeface from existing options—which is totally fine—it’s still a good idea to do what Enchilada did and present an industry-standard sample to your client. Take Enchilada’s cue and ditch “Lorem ipsum” in favor of a brief explanation of why your typeface is the right choice for the brand.

9. Put product packages in their best light

Showing off a product packaging design to a client is especially difficult, because you have to convey something three-dimensional using just two. Roll-outs are of course a necessary component, but it’s also a smart idea to show how the design will look in real life. This Budweiser mockup by Jones Knowles Ritchie is especially effective because of how they angle each bottle to provide a view of the design as a whole.

This image by Manual for Fort Point is also a lesson in presentation. By filling up the whole frame with their can designs, rather than having them stand before a white background, they create a much more compelling image.

10. Capture every application

Images via UnderConsideration

Like we said at the start, nowadays designers must assume that their design will appear absolutely everywhere, from tote bags to iPhone screens to architecture. North does a good job of showing how their refresh of the Tate brand will look on pins, t-shirts and even shoes. This photo looks like it is of actual merchandise, but if you are creating a brand presentation for a client, you could easily do something similar in mockup form.

This image of Interbrand Australia’s design for Australian Design Centre conveys an important lesson: always try to show how your brand work will look in the actual space where it is going to appear—not just a generic one. If you can add it to a photograph with real people, all the better.

Lastly, don’t forget to keep in mind the hottest, newest technology. Wolf Ollins was quick to show its client, Grubhub, how their design would look on an Apple Watch interface.

How To Create a Brand Perception Survey

Header image for the blog article "How To Create a Brand Perception Survey"

What is a brand perception survey?

When should you conduct a brand perception survey, who should you send your brand perception survey to, brand perception survey questions, putting survey results into action.

  • Learning from your survey results

93% of marketers say online brand reputation management is moderately to very important for their company.

According to Capterra’s 2023 Role of AI in Digital Brand Management Survey, 72% of marketers say online brand reputation management is very important while another 21% consider it moderately important for their company. * That means that almost 100% of marketers believe that the identity and perception of their company is important and worth actively monitoring.

As a small business owner, it is important to understand how your customers perceive your business. If they have a different understanding of your business, your product or service, than what you planned, there can be confusion and ultimately a lack of business.

But where to begin? In this article, we explain how to create an effective brand perception survey for your customers.

Before we dive into what a brand perception survey is, it’s important to understand what branding is. A brand is any distinctive feature—like a name, term, design, or symbol—that identifies goods or services. [ 1 ] Branding combines the practical (i.e. my iPhone is easy to use) and emotional (i.e. my iPhone feels like an extension of my arm) description of a business. If the branding is done right, then the customer is more likely to have a positive connection to the business and become a loyal customer.

However, before we can get to the ultimate goal of your brand, you need to identify what your brand is and then ensure that it is being maintained. A brand can change overtime as a business changes. It can also change even if you do not mean for it to change. Public perception and opinion are powerful and can lead to what a brand is, for worse or better. As a small business owner, you cannot afford for your brand to go off the rails. This is how survey questions for brand perception can help.

Graphic explaining what a brand perception survey is

A brand perception survey questionnaire is a survey you send to customers, target audience and staff to gauge how they feel about your brand and how they describe it. Let’s now dive into how you can create a survey that is right for your company.

Conducting regular customer satisfaction surveys is important for a business, regardless of your company’s age. Do keep in mind that these surveys will help understand how customers feel about your brand but may not accurately explain what their brand means to you.

You do not want to send out a survey at the beginning of your businesses’ launch. At this point, you will not have had customers long enough for them to be able to describe your brand. About five years into a company’s development is a good starting point for evaluating your brand. This does not mean that you aren’t monitoring performance and marketing strategies before the 5-year mark, it just means that this is a good time to survey the public on how they perceive your brand.

From here, it is up to you how often you want to continue to send branded surveys. If you are going through a major business change, then more frequent brand perception surveys may be helpful. However, if you are looking to maintain your brand overall, an annual survey should suffice.

There are three key stakeholders that you should focus on when creating and sending surveys: existing customers, target audience (or prospective customers) and your employees.

Key stakeholders of brand perception survey

Existing customers have decided to use your brand, so they will likely have some opinion on what your brand is. Their results will be key because they will tell you what your business actually is versus what you think it is and what is working. If you find that their results are wildly different from what you thought your company brand was, then this may lead to larger level business strategy conversations.

The results from your target audience will help you better understand why there are people who are not already using your product or service. Perhaps the values that you show are not the values they care about, or perhaps they misunderstand what your values are. This stakeholder is important for understanding where your brand can go in the future.

Finally, you need to survey your employees. As the front-line workers at your company, the way they act, and work is a reflection of the brand. If their results are different from what you believe your brand is, then this could explain why your business is not doing as well as you hoped.

Before you design your survey, you need to think about the methodology that you want to use and if you are focusing on qualitative or quantitative questions? If this is a survey that you plan on using over the years to monitor your brand, more quantitative questions are important so you can measure the change. However, if this is a one-off large survey where you are planning to potentially refresh your brand, then qualitative questions are important so you can gauge respondents’ sentiments.

Below we have divided brand perception survey examples by brand positioning, brand awareness, and brand identity. It is important to note that there are many brand perception survey question examples out there, so modify as you see fit.

Brand positioning

The focus of brand positioning questions is to gauge how the respondent thinks you stack up to others in the market. Do they think you are performing better than your competitor? Would they continue to use your product in the future?

These brand survey questions will help you identify areas of improvement in the eyes of the respondent:

Where do you think [brand name] sits in the market?

What do you think about [brand name]’s pricing?

What do you believe sets [brand name] apart from competitors?

How likely are you to continue using [brand name] in the future?

Brand awareness

Brand awareness survey questions gauge how the respondent knows your brand or where they believe they can find information on your company. If they find you in places you didn’t plan, that can be an indicator of a market you want to tap into.

How did you first hear of [brand name]?

Who do you think [brand name] is aimed at?

How do you perceive [brand name]’s online presence (websites, social media, etc.)?

Brand identity

Brand identity survey questions get to the heart of the survey: who you are as a business. These are the questions that will help you understand if what you think your brand is, is what your respondents think your brand is:

How would you describe [brand name] to a friend?

Which (if any) of the following traits do you associate with [brand name]?

Do you feel [brand name]’s messaging aligns with your values and needs?

Have you noticed any changes in [brand name] offerings over time?

Now that you have designed your survey, it is time to use survey software to disseminate and collect results. If you are conducting a one-off large-scale survey, then you will be sharing this survey everywhere—email, mailer, receipts, or in-person events. You will want to collect as many responses as possible. If this is a maintenance survey that is conducted once a year, then the scope of your outreach does not need to be quite so large. An email campaign may suffice.

Once you have your results, the real work begins. Depending on what they tell you, you may need to do a major overhaul of your marketing strategy or even evaluate your company’s culture if staff results are very different. Either way, you should use these results in every part of your business and make sure that you maintain consistency. A brand without consistency will not succeed.

Regulation and Enforcement of Non-Tobacco Nicotine (NTN) Products

On this page:

What Are Non-Tobacco Nicotine (NTN) Products?

  • Is Non-Tobacco Nicotine Addictive?

Does FDA Regulate Non-Tobacco Nicotine Products?

Is it legal to sell non-tobacco nicotine products, what is the status of fda’s review of submitted non-tobacco nicotine applications.

  • How Does FDA Enforce Against Illegal Non-Tobacco Nicotine Products?

NTN is the term used to describe nicotine that did not come from a tobacco plant. NTN includes “synthetic” nicotine, which is made in a lab and has a similar molecular makeup as naturally-occurring nicotine.

Nicotine is naturally present in tobacco plants. Most tobacco products, including cigarettes, cigars, and smokeless tobacco, contain nicotine derived from tobacco plants.

The “e-liquid” in e-cigarettes usually contains nicotine derived from a tobacco plant. Recently, a growing number of companies, including manufacturers of some of the e-cigarette brands most popular with youth, began using NTN in their products.

Is Non-Tobacco Nicotine Addictive?

Yes. Regardless of the source, nicotine is addictive , including NTN.

Tobacco products are addictive because they contain nicotine. Nicotine keeps people using tobacco products, even when they want to stop.

No tobacco product is safe. Young people have a higher risk of becoming addicted to the nicotine in tobacco products than adults because their brains are still developing. Nicotine exposure during adolescence can also disrupt normal brain development. If you’re an adult who currently doesn’t use tobacco products, you should stay tobacco-free. If you’re an adult who currently uses tobacco products, there are resources to help you quit .

Yes, FDA regulates NTN products. Since passage of the Family Smoking Prevention and Tobacco Control Act (commonly called the Tobacco Control Act) in 2009, FDA has regulated the manufacturing, distribution, and marketing of tobacco products. In 2016, the Deeming Rule extended FDA's tobacco product authorities to more tobacco products, including e-cigarettes.

In response to the increase of NTN in popular tobacco products, Congress passed a federal law which went into effect on April 14, 2022 , clarifying FDA’s authority to regulate tobacco products containing nicotine from any source, including synthetic nicotine. This law makes FDA's authority clear, and imposes requirements under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FD&C Act) for manufacturers, importers, retailers, and distributors of NTN products.

Manufacturers of NTN products who wish to market their products are required to submit a premarket application and obtain FDA authorization, or they will be subject to FDA enforcement.

In July 2022, FDA announced its first warning letters to manufacturers and retailers illegally selling NTN products . In August 2022, FDA provided an update on FDA review and enforcement of NTN products .

NTN products can only be legally marketed in the United States if it received premarket authorization from FDA. Without marketing authorization from FDA, a product is in violation of the FD&C Act and is subject to FDA enforcement.

This means that manufacturers of products containing NTN are now held to the same public health standards implemented for other tobacco products. This includes many of the same requirements to prevent youth access to these products, as well as the requirement to submit a premarket application and obtain authorization from FDA to sell their products to consumers in the United States.

A substantial number of applications were submitted by May 14, 2022 – nearly one million from more than 200 separate companies. FDA has been actively engaged in the necessary work to prepare for, process, and review the applications since the new law was passed.

Since then, FDA has completed acceptance review of 100% of the non-tobacco nicotine applications submitted by May 14, 2022. FDA accepted over 9,500 applications, with the vast majority being for e-cigarette or e-liquid products. Importantly, acceptance is not a determination of the product’s authorization status; these applications will proceed forward to more substantial review. FDA also issued refuse-to-accept (RTA) letters for more than 926,000 products in applications submitted by May 14 that do not meet the criteria for acceptance. As of October 2023, FDA has made determinations on over 98% of the applications received.

Currently, no NTN products have received marketing authorizations. Additional information about actions taken on premarket applications can be found on the Tobacco Product Applications: Metrics & Reporting webpage .

How Does FDA Enforce Against Illegal Non-Tobacco Nicotine Products?

FDA continues to pursue enforcement action as swiftly as possible. Since Congress clarified FDA's authority to regulate non-tobacco nicotine products, FDA has issued:

  • Warning letters to manufacturers , such as Puff Bar , a brand popular among youth
  • Warning letters to retailers for sale of non-tobacco nicotine products to underage purchasers
  • Civil money penalties for sales of NTN products to underage purchasers.

Failure to promptly correct warning letter violations can result in further action such as civil money penalties, seizure, and/or injunction.

‘Antidote’ Review: A Tense, Entertaining Documentary About the Perils of Investigative Journalism

Director James Jones follows reporters and activists as they uncover the truth behind Vladimir Putin's war against the Russian opposition.

Antidote

From its very first moments, “ Antidote ” unspools like a propulsive thriller. An off-camera voice asks Bulgarian investigative journalist Christo Grozev, “Did you ever think you’d be investigating an assassination plot against yourself?” From that startling introduction, director James Jones ’ galvanizing documentary moves at a fast speed to tell its high-stakes story about Vladimir Putin’s Russia, contemporary investigative journalism and the people who put their lives in jeopardy for what they believe in.

Related Stories

How content spending will grow in the post-peak tv era, chinese indie animation superstar busifan on his annecy competition player 'the storm', popular on variety.

In fact, this family angle becomes an integral part of “Antidote.” Not only do we follow the Kara-Murzas, but we see the impact this work takes on Gorzev’s family too. His son appears on-camera, his daughter is heard on the phone and the mystery surrounding his father’s disappearance connects the personal to the professional in tangible ways. Loss, separation and dread fuel the anxieties of these people at all times. What the film smartly uncovers is why they continue to do what they do.

While Grozev makes for a compelling subject, the film needed more flashy counterpoints to match the adrenaline rush these journalists describe. Enter Russian journalist Roman Dobrokhotov, a colleague of Grozev’s. With his leather jacket, Dobrokhotov comes across as self-assured bordering on arrogant, mincing no words talking about Putin’s goals. He’s complemented by another journalist talking head, Fidelius Schmid, who has a reassuring influence on the surroundings. The three are distinct enough from each other, showing why different personalities are intrigued by this line of work.

Any film about this topic taking place at this time must include the story of Russian dissident Alexei Navalny, the subject of the 2022 Oscar-winning documentary “Navalny.” Grozev actually appeared in that movie, and Navalny is mentioned briefly here. However, what distinguishes “Antidote” is that it keeps the focus firmly on the journalists and their work. In doing so, it avoids the murky waters of trying to explain the politics of its subjects. This is not a film about what politicians stand for or why they oppose their governments, but rather a story about how a team of journalists uncovers a conspiracy and the impact it has on their lives and the lives of the people they are writing about.

In addition to the interviews and the real time documentation of how some of these events unfolded, Jones adds animation and newscast footage. He follows Grozev as he tries to reconcile his work with family obligations. All of this makes for an entertaining watch with emotional gravitas. While “Antidote” might appear to be a straightforward David vs. Goliath story, in choosing to concentrate on the arduous work of how the truth gets uncovered, the filmmakers end up making a rousing, feature-length call to action.

The presentation of personal stories from world war ii, korea and vietnam will run twice daily at the eaa warbirds of america area..

OSHKOSH – Patrons are going to be treated to 80 years’ worth of aviation and military stories when the presentation series Warbirds in Review returns to this year’s edition of EAA AirVenture .

The series brings together historic aircraft with pilots and owners through a presentation of personal stories from World War II, Korea and Vietnam at the EAA Warbirds of America area on the AirVenture grounds.

“Warbirds in Review features veterans, aviation legends and aircraft that simply cannot be seen together in one place anywhere else in the world,” said Connie Bowlin, past president of the EAA Warbirds of America .

“Many of these veterans maintain that they were just doing their jobs and nothing heroic or extraordinary, but that could not be farther from the truth.

"Their stories and unique perspectives on the aircraft showcased at Oshkosh are insightful, poignant and important for the public to hear,” Bowlin added.

The sessions will be conducted twice daily at the Warbirds in Review aircraft ramp from July 22-28, with a morning presentation at 10 a.m. followed by one in the afternoon at 1 p.m.
