ConsumerAffairs shows 197 reviews with an average rating of 3.6/5. Many customers complained about constantly receiving spam emails from “placement” agencies. Apparently, Monster was giving out their private information.

You have my location as Boston, MA. I did not select this and there is no obvious way to correct the error. Monster is not as good as it was years…

Monster is not as good as it was years ago. I joined back in 2013 or so and I actually got connected with real legit recruiters and now I get spam calls and emails from foreign recruiters that pretend to be from legitimate companies. The first thing they say is, "I found your resume on Monster" So thanks for not vetting recruiters or companies that are on here. Monster is definitely a free space or a gateway or illegitimate faux companies to attempt to scam people. Thanks guys. I'll give you a better rating when this issue is mitigated or resolved. For now, you get 1 star because I am annoyed.

The information I put in didn't seem to…

The information I put in didn't seem to matter. Many of the jobs that were emailed to me had nothing to do with what I was looking for or was even qualified for. Why am I getting emails about being in house counsel when I don't even have a law degree. Just give me the jobs I really want or let me do the work myself. All Monster did was add to the confusion. Not what I was hoping for in todays world where AI is more intuitive. Seems like Monster is either misusing or using old technology. Just give it up until it actually works.

I got a detailed response, but here are the three actionable tips:

• Quantify achievements with specific metrics

ChatGPT can also provide insights into various resume services, highlighting the benefits of hiring professional resume services to ensure your resume stands out to recruiters and passes resume screening software.

While true, my example resume did a good job quantifying the achievements. I did not provide a job description. As ChatGPT knows, my skills are tailored to a specific role already.

The third tip was both accurate and actionable; my resume was a plain text document with no more formatting than an essay. ChatGPT recommended adding an introductory statement, also known as a professional summary or resume summary , and adding key achievements. My resume submission did include these elements, so this advice was confusing. There were no tips on how to improve the layout of my resume.

In 1988, the Tuvan Archaeological Expedition (led by M. E. Kilunovskaya and V. A. Semenov) discovered a unique burial of the early Iron Age at Saryg-Bulun in Central Tuva. There are two burial mounds of the Aldy-Bel culture dated by 7th century BC. Within the barrows, which adjoined one another, forming a figure-of-eight, there were discovered 7 burials, from which a representative collection of artifacts was recovered. Burial 5 was the most unique, it was found in a coffin made of a larch trunk, with a tightly closed lid. Due to the preservative properties of larch and lack of air access, the coffin contained a well-preserved mummy of a child with an accompanying set of grave goods. The interred individual retained the skin on his face and had a leather headdress painted with red pigment and a coat, sewn from jerboa fur. The coat was belted with a leather belt with bronze ornaments and buckles. Besides that, a leather quiver with arrows with the shafts decorated with painted ornaments, fully preserved battle pick and a bow were buried in the coffin. Unexpectedly, the full-genomic analysis, showed that the individual was female. This fact opens a new aspect in the study of the social history of the Scythian society and perhaps brings us back to the myth of the Amazons, discussed by Herodotus. Of course, this discovery is unique in its preservation for the Scythian culture of Tuva and requires careful study and conservation.
