ROOM ASSIGNMENTS: November 2021 Agriculturist Board Exam

MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Board of Agriculture releases the list of room assignments for the November 2021 Agriculturist Licensure Exam few days before the exams.

The November 2021 Agriculture board exams will be conducted on November 9-11, 2021 at PRC testing centers located at NCR, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legaspi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.

The Board of Agriculture is headed by its Chairman, Dr. Fortunato A. Battad and its members, Dr. Nora B. Inciong, Inv. Gonzalo O. Catan, Jr. and Mr. Vicente L. Domingo.

Room Assignments for November 2021 Agriculturist Board Exams

Examinees are advised to verify the room assignments to the links below or through the notices and announcements to be posted at the PRC official website. Here is the list of room assignments for the November 2021 Agriculture licensure exams.

Examinees shall report before 6:00 in the morning on the said date because late comers will not be admitted.

What to bring on the day of exams?

Here are the things to bring during the examination proper:

• Notice of Admission
• Official Receipt
• One (1) piece of metered-stamped window mailing envelope
• Two (2) or more pencils (No. 2)
• Ball pens (black ink only)
• One (1) piece long brown envelope
• One (1) piece long transparent/plastic envelope (for keeping your valuables and other allowed items)
• Any licensed Physician (government or private physician)
• Municipal Health Officer, Provincial Health Officer or City Health Officer
• Barangay Officer visiting the examinee’s residence attesting that he/she has been in quarantine for 14 days;
• Informed Consent Form and Health Declaration Form
• Face mask preferably N95 and Face Shield (to be worn at all times)
• 70% ethyl alcohol for regular hand disinfection
• Pre-packed meal/snacks and drinks

PRC said that examinees shall submit the Post Examination Health Surveillance Form to the concerned Regional Office 14 days after the conduct of exams.

What if I failed to take the exams?

In the event that the examinee failed to take the exams due to below reasons, examinee will be allowed to take on the next schedule subject to the following requirements:

• Health Related Reasons: The examinee must submit a letter to the commission or respective board with notarized Medical Certificate as attachment
• Travel Restriction Reasons: The examinee must submit a letter to the commission or respective board with Official letter or restriction from the concerned LGU

What to wear on examination day?

Here are the specified dress codes from PRC:

• For male examinees, white polo shirt with collar (without any seal, logo, or mark); decent pants or slacks
• For female examinees, white blouse or shirt with collar (without any seal, logo, or mark); decent pants or slacks

Not allowed during exams

• Books, notes, review materials, and other printed materials containing coded information or formulas
• Programmable calculators
• Apple, Samsung and other smart watches, cellular phones, ear plugs, transmitters, portable computers, Bluetooth and other electronic devices which may be used for communication purposes
• Bags of any kind

Board exams during the COVID-19 pandemic

The following precautionary health and safety guidelines shall be observed at all times during the conduct of the PRC licensure exams:

• Wearing of face mask and face shield. Examinees are also required to bring alcohol-based sanitizers.
• Examination personnel shall be provided with face mask, face shield and latex gloves.
• Observe physical distancing by maintaining 1-meter distance from one another.
• Body temperature will be checked using thermal scanner prior to entry at examination premises. Those with fever, colds or cough are not allowed to take the exams. Their payment will not be forfeited and can be used in the next licensure exam.
• Examinees are advised to bring their food as they will not be allowed to exit the examination room during break time and lunch time.
• Examinees shall sanitize before entering the examination room, after using the rest room and before distribution of test questionnaires.

PRC added that they will not be responsible of any lost personal belongings.

PRC Room Assignments for November 2022 Pharmacist Licensure Exam (PhLE)

Manila, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has announced the room assignments for the November 9-10, 2022 Pharmacist Licensure Exam (PhLE) for testing locations in National Capital Region (NCR)/ Metro Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legaspi, Lucena, Pagadian, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.

The licensure exams for Professional Pharmacists were administered by the PRC and Board of Pharmacy headed by its Chairman, Dr. Adelina C. Royo, and its members, Anthony Aldrin C. Santiago and Mildred B. Oliveros.

Here are the room assignments for the November 2022 Pharmacist Licensure Exam, courtesy of PRC:

• Manila / NCR
• Manila – Added to the list

PhLE Schedule and Coverage

Examination attire.

Male examinees are required to wear a white polo shirt with a collar (without any seal, logo, or mark) and decent pants or slacks.

For female examinees, a white blouse or shirt with a collar (without any seal, logo, or mark) and a decent skirt or slacks.

What to bring?

Don’t forget the following on examination day:

• Notice of Admission (NOA)
• Official Receipt
• Two (2) or more pencils (No. 1 or No. 2)
• Ball pens with BLACK ink only
• One (1) piece long brown envelope
• One (1) piece long transparent/plastic envelope (for keeping your valuables and other allowed items)
• Health forms
• Negative RT-PCR Test Results, if applicable, or Certificate of Quarantine

Examinees are not allowed to bring books, notes, or similar items to the examination room. Programmable calculators and electronic gadgets such as Apple and Samsung products are not allowed either. Bags of any kind are also not allowed inside the examination premises.

Precautionary Measures

The following precautionary measures shall be observed during the conduct of the PhLE:

• Wearing of face mask and face shield
• Sanitizing using alcohol and hand-based sanitizers whenever necessary
• Physical Distancing of one (1) meter at all times
• Those with fever and cold are not allowed to take the exam
• Observe proper hygiene at all times

The iGovPhil Project officially adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) as the accessibility standard for all its related web development and services. WCAG 2.0 is also an international standard, ISO 40500. This certifies it as a stable and referenceable technical standard.

WCAG 2.0 contains 12 guidelines organized under 4 principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR for short). There are testable success criteria for each guideline. Compliance to these criteria is measured in three levels: A, AA, or AAA. Exports to China: ''SMEs will fit the price range if they make an industrial revolution''

Tamle, a Tatarstan manufacturer of confectionery products, is anticipating signing a contract with China

Tamle factory, accompanied by the Tatarstan Export Corporation, can arrange the supply of sweets to China by the end of the year. About 90 different enterprises are going to enter the Asian export markets, said Artur Gaynov, the representative of the ministry of economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, at the export development forum on 17 April. Tatarstan farmers are in a hurry to open up the Chinese market, but do not know what products are in demand among Asian buyers, they complained. Anyway, the main obstacle is the other thing — technological backwardness, lack of recognizable brands and price uncompetitiveness.

Farmers are uniting in cooperatives

The forum on export development of agricultural products for small farmers, organized by the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Kazan Cooperative Institute, was held with a large audience of agrarians and farmers. They are seriously interested in the prospects of export of agricultural products to the countries of Southeast Asia, China and India, which are gradually beginning to be opened up by Russian producers.

Alsu Nabieva, the moderator of the forum, rector of the Kazan Cooperative Institute, reminded that within the framework of national projects this business area will enjoy state support. According to her, in the framework of the national project ''International Cooperation and Export'' there will appear regional programmes to support small and medium-sized businesses. At the end of 2018, the export of agricultural products from Tatarstan amounted to $180 million, and by 2024 the republic has committed to double it to $360 million (export of all types of goods – editor's note ). At the same time, she considers the products certified by Halal standards to be the point of export growth in agriculture. However, while it is produced in small volumes, up to 4,5 billion rubles, said representative of the ministry of agriculture Dmitry Yashin.

Nabieva emphasized the importance of enterprises' union in production cooperatives a mandatory condition of entry into foreign markets. Only in this way the villagers will be able to guarantee stable volumes of exports. ''How can we gain volume? Only by uniting rural producers into cooperatives,'' she explained the purpose of cooperatives. And in this she was supported by Dmitry Yashin.

Second to last place by non-oil exports to China

But most of all, farmers were concerned about the question of what types of food are in demand among Chinese consumers. ''Before the forum began, we gave the cooperators an opportunity to ask their questions,'' said Alsu Nabieva. ''And it turned out that they want to know which groups of goods are best for export. Is there an analyst of the ministry of agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan about what products are in demand, what they want to buy?'' she asked the representatives of the ministry of agriculture and the ministry of economy acting as speakers.

However, the leaders among the exporting regions, as it is easy to guess, are Irkutsk Oblast and Sverdlovsk Oblast and Primorsky Krai. They are practically neighbours of China.

As it followed from the slide of the company Vyborg-Terminal Severo-Zapad, at the end of January 2019 the total volume of non-oil exports from Russia to China amounted to more than $550 million. Among 15 regions-exporters, Tatarstan occupies the penultimate 14th place with sales volume of $13,5 million. Only Samara Oblast is in worse position — $11,6 million. From the next slide, it was clear that the share of agriculture in non-oil exports to China is just scanty — 0,5%, and even then it is feed. The lion's share of exports is fuel, rubber and plastics.

In short, there is room to grow. The representative of the ministry of economy, Artur Gaynov, said that by the end of the year 90 enterprises throughout the country, including agricultural ones, are planned to be developed for exports. To support future exporters and minimize their costs associated with entering foreign markets, the authorities are ready to subsidize up to 80% of the costs of obtaining an international certificate, to compensate 50% of logistics costs, to conduct training seminars on foreign economic activity, he said. Especially for entrepreneurs, Artur Gaynov listed international exhibitions, for participation in which farmers are invited. At the end of May, Shanghai hosts the food exhibition FMA China, in early November, in Kazakhstan — the International Central Asian exhibition Agro World and, finally, the famous exhibition Halal Expo in Istanbul.
