Eligibility and Application Process
Eligibility: To be eligible for these benefits, you should:
- Receive a GIS benefit amounting to at least $6,500 per year.
- Provide your Old Age Security statement (T4A(OAS)) indicating the aforementioned amount in box 21 (net supplements paid).
Application: TELUS has made the application process as straightforward as possible. You can either:

After Applying: What’s Next?
Once your application is in, TELUS will review and respond within a week. If approved, you’ll get a unique code, details about the Mobile Klinik discount, and instructions on how to sign up for the plan.
Q. Does TELUS provide a phone?
You need to bring your own device. If you don’t have one, a $75 discount is available for a phone purchase from Mobile Klinik.
Q. Can I migrate from an existing TELUS contract?
Yes. You can apply and, if approved, migrate to the new plan. But, remember, you’ll remain responsible for all existing device balances or Easy Pay arrangements.

Went in vacation in the Georgian bay close to Wasaga beach, I was unable to connect to the Lte 5G that was supposed to be accessible in that area. My wife had Fido and daughter had Fizz and both were connected to Lte while my phone was showing 2 bars in 3g, I was unable to surf two Telus rep were unable to help me. I cancelled and got Fido.
I ordered my cell at the end of June and returned it in August and still not received it. I have to fight with them to receive it and all they can tell me is to be patient. I spent 7 hours online with Telus and UPS to manage the case and still not resolved. Never again will I do business with Telus online store. I've never seen a company that takes no responsibility and doesn't care about its customers.
