Question 2. Sunni’s bedroom has the dimensions of 11 ft by 10 ft by 10 ft. Her den has the same height but double the volume. Give two sets of the possible dimensions of the den and the volume of the den. Answer:
Given, the dimensions of Sunni’s bedroom = 11 ft by 10 ft by 10 ft
Volume = 11 x 10 x 10
= 1100 cubic feet
The den has same height but double volume
Now, the set of two possible dimensions of the den and its volume =
20 x 10 x 10
Volume = 2200 cubic feet
10 x 20 x 10
Volume = 2,200 cubic feet.
