Our Latest STEM Projects
- This is a Build-Your-Own remote control, motorised robot. You cam decide to build one of three.
- We started doing this project together. It took me a while to agree to start because of all of the little peices. Had to find the perfect moment when the smaller to were occupied!
- I put the motor on-charge just as we started and dug out some AA batteries.
- We started at around 1pm together and by 3pm the 7 year old was off, making mistakes and progress solo.
- Will keep your curious little engineer occupied for hours and hours straight, only looking up from his mission occasionally when he hears rustling packets and pantry doors closing.
- The sense of achievement they get from completion, and then actually using it as a toy. Priceless.
- Beats any out-the-box RC toy we've ever had.
- Nice, affordable STEM toy
- Sooo many tiny pieces (434 to be exact) if one piece goes flying across the room, underneath a bit of furniture… all the best!
- Suggested age (6) could possibly be bumped up to 7.
- May have a low replay value as the hype dies down and the robot doesn't do much else but crawl around slowly.
