Today, foreign languages are becoming more and more important. This also applies to professional life. As a result, the number of people learning foreign languages has increased. Many parents would also like their children to learn languages. It is best at a young age. There are already many international grade schools worldwide. Kindergartens with multilingual education are becoming more and more popular. Starting to learn so early has many advantages. This is due to the development of our brain. Our brain builds structures for languages up to the age of 4. These neuronal networks help us in learning. Later in life, new structures do not form as well. Older children and adults have more difficulty learning languages. Therefore, we should promote the early development of our brain. In brief: the younger, the better. There are also people, however, who criticize early learning. They fear that multilingualism overwhelms small children. Besides that, there is the fear that they won't learn any language properly. These doubts are unfounded from a scientific standpoint though. Most linguists and neuropsychologists are optimistic. Their studies of the topic show positive results. Children usually have fun in language courses. And: If children learn languages, they also think about languages. Therefore, by learning foreign languages they get to know their native language. They profit from this knowledge of languages their entire life. Maybe it's actually better to start with more difficult languages. Because the brain of a child learns quickly and intuitively. or |

What is scorching heat in urdu.
The Urdu word for scorching heat is tap-ti dhoop (تپتی دھوپ). Yet, there are other words also. Like, ja-la-ne wa-li dhoop (جلانے والی دھوپ) or jhul-sane wa-li (جھلسانے والی), etc.
A good way to teach Urdu weather vocabulary is to make a weather word wall . You can create one by listing all the related weather vocabulary in hierarchy. For instance, write weather (موسم- mau-sam ), cloud (بادل- ba-dal ), rain (بارش- ba-rish ), rainbow (قوسِ قزح – qaus-e-qazah ) together as they are related.
In Urdu, we translate this weather condition as ba-rish ke sath dhoop (بارش کے ساتھ دھوپ) or dhoop main ba-rish (دھوپ میں بارش).

With much of the media attention focused on the future of President Joe Biden’s candidacy, the New York Times has taken a critical look at his predecessor’s candidacy.
In an editorial titled “Donald Trump is Unfit to Lead,” the newspaper’s 14 opinion journalists said on Thursday that the presumptive Republican nominee has shown Americans a level of character not worthy of presidential responsibility.
“He has demonstrated an utter lack of respect for the Constitution, the rule of the law and the American people,” the editorial board wrote. “Instead of a cogent vision for the country’s future, Mr. Trump is animated by a thirst for political power: to use the levers of government to advance his interests, satisfy his impulses and exact retribution against those who he thinks have wronged him.”
“He is, quite simply, unfit to lead,” the Times wrote.
The editorial points out the former president’s polarization of American politics, his lies, and his treatment of women and people of color, describing him as possessing “a schoolyard bully’s instinct to target society’s most vulnerable.”
The editorial also slammed Trump’s involvement in the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol, along with his disdain for the rule of law when it does not work in his favor. Trump’s campaign pledges to round up undocumented immigrants into detention camps and end birthright citizenship were described by the editorial board as immoral at best, and unconstitutional at worst.
These, and other vivid acts he made during his presidency, showed that Trump governed “as a strongman would,” the Times’s editorial board wrote. In a second administration, Trump would fill it with “sycophants” who would obey Trump and “lack the strength to stand up to him.”
Times opinion writers also criticized the Republican Party, noting that, in the past, the GOP and its standard-bearers had based themselves on the “values of freedom, sacrifice, individual responsibility, and the common good.” These values were reflected in the party’s conservative agenda.
“The Republican Party is making its choice next week” at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, the board continued, adding that “soon all Americans will be able to make their own choice.”
“What would Mr. Trump do in a second term? He has told Americans who he is and shown them what kind of leader he would be. When someone fails so many foundational tests, you don’t give him the most important job in the world,” the editorial board wrote.
The Times editorial comes amidst an avalanche of editorials, commentary, and calls from Democratic legislators for Biden to step down since a disastrous debate performance last month.
As of Thursday, nine Congressional Democrats, including U.S. Rep. Seth Moulton, D-6th District, and Vermont U.S. Sen. Peter Welch, have called on Biden to step aside.
On Wednesday, the Times published an opinion piece by actor and Biden donor George Clooney titled “I Love Joe Biden. But We Need a New Nominee.”
Clooney wrote that he saw the president at a June 15 fundraiser and noticed that the president was not the Joe “big F-ing deal” Biden of 2010. He wasn’t even the Joe Biden of 2020. He was the same man we all witnessed at the debate.”
“We are not going to win in November with this president,” the actor wrote. “On top of that, we won’t win the House, and we’re going to lose the Senate. This isn’t only my opinion; this is the opinion of every senator and congress member and governor that I’ve spoken with in private. Every single one, irrespective of what he or she is saying publicly.”
Polling shows Trump in an effective statistical tie with Biden, with polling aggregator FiveThirtyEight showing Trump ahead at 42.3% and Biden at 40.2% as of Thursday.
A Times/Siena poll released on July 3 showed the gap widening following the first presidential debate, with Trump holding a 49%-41% lead over Biden.

In many places, a scorching Independence Day led into an even hotter weekend.
By Soumya Karlamangla
You probably don’t need me to tell you that it’s been hot in California.
A West Coast heat wave that began last week led to a scorching Independence Day and, for many, an even hotter weekend. A ridge of high pressure over much of the West is trapping hot air — and baking Las Vegas, the Pacific Northwest and large parts of the Golden State.
Though California’s coasts have largely been spared the worst of the heat, several areas near the coast set daily temperature records over the long holiday weekend, meaning some communities had their hottest July 4 (or July 5 or 6) in history. Among at least two dozen places in California that broke daily records last week were San Jose , Fresno , Oakland , Merced , Livermore , San Rafael and Paso Robles.
On Friday and Saturday, when the heat wave peaked in most of the state, at least three cities recorded their highest temperatures for any date.
Up north, temperatures in Redding , the Shasta County seat, soared to 119 degrees, and Ukiah , closer to the coast in Mendocino County, tied its all-time high of 117. In Southern California, Palm Springs hit a never-before-seen high of 124 degrees.
“This is a record-breaking heat wave,” Daniel Swain, a climate scientist with the University of California, Los Angeles, said in an online news conference over the weekend. Some people in the state, he said, had seen “not only the hottest day they’ve ever experienced but also the hottest day that their parents or grandparents ever would have experienced.”
Though records tend to capture attention, the bigger concern is how long the extreme heat lasts.
The heat wave began on Tuesday, and it is expected to persist through this week, with temperatures 15 to 30 degrees above normal, the National Weather Service predicts. That means people without air-conditioning will have had little or no respite for nearly two weeks, not even at night, when temperatures have remained unusually high.

Did you know, in the recorded history, the average temperature of the earth’s climate system has been rising at the fastest pace over the past 50 years? Owing to this rise in temperature, the average sea level has risen around seven inches in the course of the past century.
Here you will learn about what is global warming in Urdu and English.
How will you define global warming? Here is a comprehensive definition. Alternatively known as climate change, global warming can be defined as the observed century-scale increase in the average temperature of the global climate system and the effects caused by such a rise.
Global warming occurs due to the accumulation of air pollutants and greenhouse gases, like carbon dioxide, methane, chlorofluorocarbons, ozone, nitrous oxide and water vapors, in the earth’s atmosphere. Such elements absorb the solar radiations that have bounced off the surface of earth and prevent them from escaping into the space. In other words, the greenhouse gases and pollutants remain in the atmosphere for years to centuries and trap the heat radiations which causes the planet earth to get warmer and harsher. You can also read detail of global warming causes here.
The scientists observe a close link between global warming and extreme weather conditions. According to them, the rising global temperatures lead to hotter and longer heat waves, more frequent droughts, more powerful hurricanes and heavier rainfall.
As the temperature of oceans on earth is rising, the tropical storms are able to pick up more energy. It indicates that global warming has the potential to turn a category 3 storm into a more powerful and devastating category 4 storm.
Other effects of global warming are: early snowmelt, dramatic water shortages, increased flooding, outbreak of infectious diseases and extinction of many animal and plant species due to disruption in their habitats. Here you can also learn about what is global warming in Urdu .

A musical about particle physics is under development, with David Henry Hwang, the playwright behind “M. Butterfly.”
By Dennis Overbye
On a recent Friday afternoon in a basement room in Midtown Manhattan, a dozen musicians and actors stood behind a line of microphones and broke into song about particle physics. Urged along by a piano in the corner, their voices blended at times in a heavenly lament about cosmic ignorance and the search for the Higgs boson, a fleck of energy thought to be key to understanding the evolution of the universe.
If you think particle physics is an unpromising subject for a Broadway musical, you’re not alone. David Henry Hwang, the playwright of “M. Butterfly” fame, was unmoved when the idea was first pitched to him several years ago. “It was such an unlikely idea,” he said.
But that was then.
The basement performance, for a small crowd of Broadway insiders, investors and friends, was the first private reading of a new musical with a story by Mr. Hwang, and music and lyrics by Bear McCreary and Zoe Sarnak. The show recounts one of the biggest events in physics this century: the discovery in 2012 of the Higgs boson and the people behind it.
The production, still nascent, is based on “ Particle Fever, ” an award-winning documentary film in 2013 produced by David Kaplan, a film student turned physicist at Johns Hopkins University, and directed by Mark Levinson, a physicist turned filmmaker.
The minireveal in June was an important first step for Megan Kingery and Annie Roney, the producers, who have spent the past decade trying to forge the unlikely material into what they hope will eventually become a Broadway musical.
“It’s been a long time coming, and it has a long way to go,” Ms. Kingery said recently during a Zoom interview with Ms. Roney.
