IGNOU Admissions 2022: TEE assignment submission deadline extended to Nov 30

Ignou admissions 2022: the new deadline for submitting the assignments has been extended to november 30 from october 31..

IGNOU Admissions 2022: The  Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) on Monday extended the deadline for assignment ubmission for the candidates for the candidates who are appearing in the December Term End Examination (TEE). Candidates can find more details at the official IGNOU website —  ignou.ac.in.

According to the new schedule, the new deadline for submitting the assignments is November 30. Earlier, the last date to submit assignments was October 31.

Candidates should remember that they will not be allowed to appear for the exams if they have not submitted all the required assignments or projects. No project/ assignment will be accepted after November 30.

The notification came a little after the open university extended the application deadline for the December Term End Examination (TEE) till 11:59 pm of November 10. Earlier, candidates had time till October 31 to submit their application forms for TEE. To register, candidates have to submit Rs 200 as the application fee, and the late fees is Rs 1100.

According to the schedule released by IGNOU, the term end exams will commence on December 2  and conclude on January 5, 2023. This year, the TEE exams will be conducted two shifts — first shift will be held from 10 am to 1 pm and the second shift will be scheduled from 2 pm to 5 pm.

IGNOU   follows a multi-tier system of evaluation including Assignments, Term End Examination, Project or Practical examination. Every IGNOU candidate has to write and submit their IGNOU assignments to the study centre before the due date. If anyone fails to do so then he/she cannot attend the Term End Exam conducted by IGNOU in the month of June and December.

How to Download IGNOU Assignment 2024?  

The students can download the assignment papers by following these steps: 

Step 1: Visit the official website of the university at ignou.ac.in.

Step 2: Click on the ‘Student Support’ option, then click on ‘Student Zone’.

Step 3: Click on the option ‘Assignments’ and you will be redirected to the question papers.

Step 4: Select your respective course and download the assignment papers. 

Is it Compulsory to Submit IGNOU Assignment 2024?  

Assignments carry a total number of 30% marks in the overall percentage of a candidate, thus, it is compulsory for every student to submit the assignments within the stipulated time. It will increase one’s performance report on the grade card. Without assignments, the course is incomplete and one must necessarily submit it. The students must score at least 40% marks to pass and thereafter for filling the exam form to appear in the Term End Examination (TEE). 

Guidelines for Writing IGNOU Assignment 2024

Assignments constitute the continuous evaluation component of a course. They can be done in your home or workplace or library or any other place you think has the right environment. 

• It is important to write the answers in your own words. The university follows a strict “No Plagiarism” policy and it will not accept the assignments if plagiarised. 
• The study material provided to you is the best source to refer for writing answers. 
• The answers should be precise, well documented and relevant to the question. A reasonably adequate response can be presented within the required word limit.
• Whenever you receive a set of assignments, check them immediately. If there are some missing or blank pages, contact your concerned Regional Director.
• For your own record, retain a copy of all the answers to the assignments you submitted to the Coordinator of your Study Centre. It will help you in the future to prepare for Term End Examinations.

IGNOU Assignments can be submitted through Online and Offline modes. The mode of submission for assignments varies based on the respective study centers. Students can check the mode of assignment submission by visiting the official website of their respective regional center. Students who have completed their assignments can check the step-by-step guide to submit their assignments via online or offline modes:

IGNOU Assignment Submission Through Online Mode:

IGNOU assignments can be submitted online mode by filling out the Google form or sending an email to the respective study centers of their respective regional center. Step-by-Step process to submit IGNOU assignments through Google form or email is as follows:

IGNOU Assignment Submission through Google Form:

Students can follow the steps given below to submit their IGNOU Assignment using Google Forms:

• Visit the official website of IGNOU @ignou.ac.in.
• Click on “Regional Network” on the menu bar and then click on “Regional Centers” from the drop-down menu.
• Now Click on the “Regional Center’s Websites” and navigate to your respective regional center of IGNOU.
• Now visit the official website of your selected regional center’s website and click on “News and Event” on the homepage of the RC’s official website
• Now click on “Assignment Guidelines” or “Assignment Submission” where you’ll get the Google form link.
• By clicking on the Google form link, a new Google form for assignment submission will be open in a new tab.
• Now fill in all the important details such as name, enrolment number, subject code, and others.
• Upload all the scanned copies of assignment in the PDF format (make sure the file size does not exceed 100 MB) and submit the form.

IGNOU Assignment Submission through Email:

IGNOU has started accepting assignments via email. This facility might not be available for all study centers of your respective regional centers. If the Google Form submission is not available or the quota is full, students can submit their assignments by sending an email to their respective regional centers. The step-by-step process to submit IGNOU assignments via email is as follows:

• Find the official email address of your respective regional center through the official website of IGNOU under the “Regional Network” on the homepage.
• Mention all the important details of the IGNOU Assignment Front Page such as enrolment number, program name, subject code, study center code/name, session, contact details, etc.
• Attach all the scanned copies of your assignment in PDF format and send an email to your respective regional center.

After submitting the assignment via email, students will receive an acknowledgment email which might take a few hours. If you have still not received the email, check whether your study center is accepting through email or there’s a Google form link to submit the assignment. Students must note that many IGNOU Regional Centers are not sending acknowledgment emails so you don’t need to worry about it and keep checking the assignment submission status. ​

IGNOU Assignment Submission Through Offline Mode:

Students are required to visit their respective Study or Regional Centers to submit the assignments for their respective courses. It is necessary to submit the assignments before filling the Term End Examination form. Go through the following points to know more about the submission process for assignments: 

• Write your Enrollment Number, Name, Full Address, Signature, and Date on the top of the first page of your response sheet. It must look like this - 

• Read the assignments carefully and follow the instructions, if any, given along with the questions.
• Go through the units on which the assignments are based. Note the important points related to the questions and rearrange them in a logical order and write a rough outline for your answer. 
• Use A4 size paper for writing your responses and tie all the pages carefully. Allow a margin on the left side and a few lines in between each answer. This will help the evaluator to write comments on the margin. 
• Do not print or type the answers and write the responses to assignments in your own handwriting.
• You must answer each question separately on a separate set of papers. Write the question number carefully before answering.
• The completed assignment must be submitted at the address communicated to you by the Regional Center or your program coordinator. 
• After submitting the assignment, get the duly signed acknowledgment slip from the Coordinator.

• It is compulsory to submit the IGNOU Assignment 2024 before the term-end examinations.
• Keep a copy of the IGNOU assignment response for future references.

How to Get Good Marks in IGNOU Assignment 2024?

The largest distance educational institution in the country “IGNOU” has extended the dates of submission of TEE assignments for June 2022. Now, students can submit their projects and assignment before the 30th of June, 2022.

The Indira Gandhi National Open University has again extended the dates of assignment submission as per the latest announcement by the university administration. The new dates for the submission of assignments are the 30th of June, 2022. Earlier, the date was extended to June 15th, 2022. This extension is for both online and offline submission to various programs.

The Term End Examination for June 2022 session is about to commence in IGNOU. So, many students who haven’t prepared their projects and assignments were looking for hope from IGNOU in the form of an extension of assignment dates. Now, IGNOU comes up with this huge relaxation for the students who want to take part in the assignment or project submission activities. The assignments and projects are a very necessary part to appear for the examination be it semester-wise or annually. Candidates can easily get more information regarding the submission of these assignments, dissertations and projects using the official website of IGNOU are ignou.ac.in.

Candidates can submit their projects, fieldworks, dissertations, journals, files, thesis, reports etc. The earlier notice of IGNOU said that the last date of IGNOU assignment submission is June 15th, 2022. Now, Students can easily submit their assignments before the new last date announced by the university which is June 30th, 2022.

According to the official notice of the Indira Gandhi National Open University said that the concerned department and authorities have agreed to extend the assignment submission dates for the candidates so that they can easily fill the form for the June 2022 session. The last date for the submission of the lab works, assignments, practicums, dissertations, records, internships, journals etc can be submitted either online or through physical mode by the candidates before the last of 30th of June, 2022.

When Does the Final June TEE Examination Will Start?

The tentative date for the start of the examinations of the June TEE 2022 session is September 5th, 2022. Students are required to fill out the examination forms without a late fee till June 25th this year. From the 26th of June to the 30th, the late fee will be charged which is 1000 rupees INR.

Candidates of IGNOU need to pay a rupee of 200 per course for both theory and practical examinations. This fee can be easily paid online mode i.e net banking, credit or debit card etc.

How to Apply for June 2022 Session?

• Students need to visit the web portal of IGNOU that is ignou.ac.in.
• Then, they have to hit the New Registration link and then provide all the details there in the form with accurate information.
• After that, they need to hit the Register Now button and press the Submit tab.
• A unique enrollment ID and password will be sent to their personal email address.
• They should pay the registration fee that is mandatory to register for the new course they want to study.
• Save the registration and application form for future references.

Students have started enrolling for the January 2024 session. So, IGNOU has announced the last dates for registration and assignment submission. The last date for assignment submission is 31st May 2024 .

• For Semester Programs

Students who got registered in the July 2023 cycle appeared in the TEE December 2023. These students should have completed and submitted their assignments by 30th September 2023. Similarly, students who are enrolled in the January 2024 session will appear in TEE June 2024 for which they will have to submit their assignments by 31st May 2024 .

• For Annual Programs

Also, IGNOU offers several annual courses in diverse programs. So, if a candidate has enrolled in an annual program in July 2023 and has to appear in the final exam in June 2024 , then they also need to submit the assignments by 31st May 2024 .

You must adhere to the last date for assignments to complete one milestone. If you miss the deadline, you will have to rewrite the assignment again in the next cycle, which will be again after 6 months. Also, assignments are a summary of the whole book. So, completing the assignment dedicatedly will also help in exam preparation too.

IGNOU Assignment Questions 2024

Students need to download the assignment question papers online from the IGNOU official portal.

Step – 1 – Visit the assignment link at the IGNOU portal at https://webservices.ignou.ac.in/assignments/ .

Step – 2 – Select your level and click.

Step – 3 – Select your program and then your course.

Step – 4 – Next, select your session and then select your year.

Step – 5 – Soon, the assignments will appear on the screen.

Step – 6 – Download the assignments and take a print.

The assignments should be written using a blue or black pen only. There should be a cover page for each assignment stating the program, course, subject, candidate name, and enrolment number.

IGNOU Assignment Submission Methods in 2024

There are two ways to submit the IGNOU assignments.

Offline Assignment Submission

Students who wish to submit assignments offline can visit their respective study centers and submit the assignments. The assignments should be written on A4 size papers and bound together. The assignment should have a cover page that should have the student name, enrollment number, regional center code, subject code, and name, program, course, and session.

Online Assignment Submission

For online submission, there are two ways of assignment submission.

• Online Submission on Portal: Students who wish to submit assignments online through the portal should follow this procedure:

Step – 1 – Visit the official IGNOU portal at http://ignou.ac.in and go to your Regional center.

Step – 2 – IGNOU will display the Google Form link for assignment submission at the appropriate time in the News and Events section.

Step – 3 – Click the link to open and register yourself with your name, enrolment number, and other necessary details

Step – 4 – Upload the documents one by one carefully matching the subject code

Step – 5 – When all the uploads are done, submit the assignments.

• Online Submission through Email: Sometimes the university may ask the students to send the assignments through email to avoid litigation and other issues. In this case, the students will have to carefully arrange the assignment with the cover page and email it to the respective regional email addresses. Students can get regional email addresses from the respective Regional IGNOU Portal.

For induction program, u will shd have received an email from the regional center by this time and it shd have over, so other hand u shd directly go to the center and enquire abt it, otherwise u ll not get any info abt it
