A family tree is a representation of the lineages of a particular family mainly consisting of relatives stretching as far as possibly establishable by the family. A simple family tree would basically constitute of great grand parents, grand parents, parents, siblings, cousins and so on.

With the continued complexity of modern livelihoods, development professionals in all cadres of work have opted for more details that should be included in family tree so as to be of more use (Adams, 2009). This is the basis upon which such variances of family tree as family medical tree have been suggested and used in the medical field for keeping medical information for specific families.

This is important especially considering that there are some medical cases that are genetic and therefore follow through the family. Knowledge of my medical family history has many ways in which it can be of help to me and one of the main areas is to help me in my preparation for my health.

This is important for my current preparation as well as for my future too (Stange, Zyzanski, Jaen, Callahan, Kelly, Gillanders, et al., 1998). In a time and age where insurance policies and providers are flooding the market offering all sorts of services, it is almost paramount for these providers to know some of these conditions so as to better prepare for their services they provide.

Life insurance policies mainly base most of their terms on medical conditions of persons and it is the knowledge of my family medical history that will put me at a vintage point when taking medical covers and other related insurance policies (Stange, Zyzanski, Jaen, Callahan, Kelly, Gillanders, et al., 1998).

In conclusion, family medical history is very important for the families just as much as it is important for national planning and development for countries. Many families can be traced back to their inception , t he place that it all began. This method of discovering is called genealogy , a line of work where one discovers the predecessors of his or her family tree. This process can be very stressful and strenuous at times, involving many dead ends, and many possibly disappointments. However, in the end after it all plays out, it is well worth it. I scratched "Some families have characteristics that make them irregular, while some that make them typical." because you said in the first sentence that families are unique, and guess "typical" isn't suitable here. Maybe you can try some characteristics? And perhaps put some more antonyms after prodigious and meager? Anyway, it's just my thoughts. LOL. BTW, I suppose that this is undergraduate admission discussion here?

My grandpa told me that he met my grandma at a concert where one of the greatest artists was performing during one of the summer holidays in New York City. As we all live in the same city, we (me and my two sisters) occasionally visit our grandparents during the weekends to spend some time with them; grandpa and I were doing some gardening while my sisters and grandma do cook and other house chores. The bond between our great parents and ours is very excellent.

At Christmas, all my children, mum, and dad travel to our grandparents for a whole week. During the new year, we get together at our house, my parent's house, to welcome the year as an entire family. Sometimes during the weekends, we usually spend most of our time on the beach swimming, except on church days. As a family, our favorite food is deep-fried fish, rice, and vegetables. However, my grandpa likes chicken hash.

In conclusion, the social co-existence between us is excellent, which has created a robust mutual bond for the family. From visiting each other, spending time on the beach, having to get together meals to usher the new year, and celebrating Christmas as a family, the bond keeps growing. Browning 1 Claire Browning Professor Flowers UCCP 102 19 April 2017 Family Tree Essay Browning Family Tree I started this project with literally no idea of where my family comes from. I asked my mom and my dad about their heritage and my mom replied, have absolutely no and my dad said, know, somewhere in Germany, I I went with my side of the family because, I is better than nothing. I did my research on Ancestry because no one in my family had a particularly good story of our family name. The Browning side of my family is broken down into two groups, the (obviously) on my side, and the on my side. start with me, I suppose. I am Claire Marie Browning. I have a little sister, Bailey Moss Browning. We are the daughters of Brent Moss Browning and Kace Ann Lay Browning. We talk about Kace because another whole side of the story that Ancestry did not tell. Brent, along with his little sister Sunny and older, deceased brother Wes, are the children of Robert Wesley Browning Senior and Helen Gayle Ballard Browning. As far back as I can find on the Sheets side, my ninth great grandfather was Phillip Schutz. He and his wife, Anna Maria, lived in Brussles, Germany and on May 17, 1714 had their one and only son, Jacob. Jacob married a woman whose name was lost in German death records and who died fairly young in 1753. They had one son, Johann. After the death of his father, Johann and his wife, Anna Elizabeth Bens, immigrated to America. They changed their last name Browning 2 to Sheets and started a family where their ship landed in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. They had six children: Anna, Frantz, Johann Jr., Jacob, Henry, and Andrew. Johann is my sixth great grandfather, and he went his middle name, Martin. He and his wife, Margaret Snyder, another German immigrant, had a whopping nine kids. On of sons was William. He and his wife, Elizabeth relocated and moved down to Huntington, West Virginia where the Sheets family still lives. Elizabeth passed away in March of 1864 and William followed in March of 1871. They left behind their eight children, five daughters and three sons. Only one of the sons, my fourth great grandfather, Jack, carried on the Sheets name. Jack married Melvina Johnson and they settled down with eleven children. Jack and Melvina passed away in the late 1910s and their children are the first generation that my grandmother remembers. This is where my grandmother, Gayle, started her story. Melvina and children all lived on a big piece of land. Their families grew, and they just kept building more houses and adding more rooms. all just piled she told me. one person had was everyone What momma cooked was for everyone to eat. What the kids did and how they were punished was business Charles Sheets, the third of eleven, married Dora Sunders in 1882 and settled down on that same property. They had only one child, my beloved grandfather, Harrison. Harrison and his wife, Stella, had eight children. My grandmother refers to them fondly their nicknames including Toukey, Shifty, and Frankie Bob. One of their children was Christine, my mother. She got married young to a man named William Ballard. After she had my grandmother, Christine left William because he abused her, so we talk about him very Gayle fell head over heals with her high Browning 4 third great grandfather. He married Lake Ann Lewis. Linford and Lake had ten children, but only six made it past the age of two: Leona Mae, Lauray, Dora, Moss, Arnold, and Marjorie. Moss Cecil Browning, my great grandfather, married Lotus Bryan, the daughter of Daniel and Madlin Bryan. Moss is the oldest relative that I remember. He used to rock with me and sing to me and he lived with my grandparents until he died in 2003. I remember going to his funeral up in West Virginia because I fell in a freezing cold swimming pool and cried for like four hours. Lotus died in 1992 before I was born. Before that, though, Moss and Lotus had three children. Peggy was the first. She is still alive and lives about 30 minutes from me in my home town of Pensacola, Florida. Usually, we spend Christmas Eve and Easter with her, her husband, Rob, and her two sons, Greg and Vick. Their second child was Gerald. Gerald got in a motorcycle wreck in the 1960s, but lived in a hospital until the late 1980s. His wife and two kids live in New Jersey and Pennsylvania with their families and we usually get together with them every other summer. The ba of the family was Bob, my grandfather. He was born in Huntington, West Virginia in 1945, fell in love with his high school sweetheart, dragged her up to New York City, and married her. After that, they started a small business together contracting grounds maintenance to military bases and corporate businesses. They settled down back in Huntington, West Virginia and had their three kids, Wes, Brent, and Sunny. In 1981, they moved down to Pensacola, Florida to fulfill my dream of never having to see snow a bit dramatic. Now, Bob and Gayle have five grandkids and live in their little house they built when the kids moved out. Sunny married her college love, and Brent followed his high school sweetheart to Mobile, Alabama and married her. Brent and his wife, Kace, moved back down to their little home town after they graduated college, Brent started his own business and Kace started teaching Browning 5 kindergarten. They traveled and did what they wanted for a few years and then had two little girls, Claire and Bailey. So, I guess that brings the story back to me. Nothing too interesting, just some German immigrants and some Jamestown settlers who ended up in a little town in West Virginia. Gayle: Honey, I honestly have no idea. I think we came over from Germany and landed somewhere up north somehow, but quote me on that. C: Okay, well, can you just tell me about your parents? G: Yes. Christine Maybelle Sheets Ballard Taylor was my mother. She was amazing. Such a lady, such a fireball. She worked at a jewelry shop when she did work, but otherwise she had a man to take care of her. My father was William I know him well. He and mother were married for less than two years. They had me and my mother left him because he beat her. I saw him maybe 10 times in my life. C: So did MiMi raise you on her own? G: Oh no, I had like 40 parents. We all lived on about 30 acres of family land, and we all just piled up. What one person had was everyone What momma cooked was for everyone to eat. What the kids did and how they were punished was business. My granddaddy was my favorite Harrison, what a man. He smoked tobacco from a pipe and talked in the lowest voice ever heard. He sang baritone and played the fiddle, I just loved that man. C: So, how far back do you remember? G: Harrison was the oldest, but he and my grandmother told stories of my Charles and the whole family back to Jack and Melvina, how could you forget a name like Melvina, who moved down to West Virginia and bought the land that we lived on. C: Okay cool, so tell me about your childhood. G: I grew up on that big piece of land with all of my cousins and aunts and uncles. I had a great time. I loved school, had the best girlfriends who you we go on trips every summer. I met your Poppy in middle school. Our families were linked up because you know second cousins marriage. That bode well considering from West But I fell head over heals for him and followed him up to NYC to College. We got married in a courthouse and headed back to WV and started having kids in our little shack of a house. Wes came in 66, your daddy came in 69, and Sunny Christine in 71. C: When did move down here? G: Summer of 81. I really wanted to never see snow again and your Poppy finally gave in and took a job down here at Whiting Field and I never looked back.
